“And This Little Piggy” Was Banned!
October 26, 2005 |
In an amazing move by ’sensitive’ British Banks they are banning the classic piggy banks which for many years served as an incentive for children to save their change. This sudden change of policy has also caused piglet to flee a country which has become increasingly senstive to Muslim sensibilities. Winnie the Pooh, destraught over the loss of his friend was last seen sitting on a log saying, “Think, think, think.”
In another related case the three little pigs’ houses were also destroyed. However the wolf was prevented from eating the pigs who were simply deported to Mexico where they found easy passage into the United States.
The effects of these events on politics remains to be seen. Terms like ‘Pork barrel’ spending could be in jeopardy. It seems likely that the whole system will be in a pickle over the issue and will quickly form a committee to resolve the issues at hand. In the meantime British Banks have toyed with the idea of a “Osama bin laden” bank as a gesture of good will. They contain a handy feature which doesn’t require a hammer but contains small charges to break the little bank for the child. Bank Officials, hopeful this move will help, commented that they believed the children will get a real bang out of the new bank.
