Now we see how open the French government has been about their meals for deals program through the U.N. and the former Iraqi tyrant. Now they are pushing for censorship of media coverage of the riots. Jean-Claude Dassier, director gneral of the rolling news service LCI, believes excessive coverage could be fanning the violence.

“Do we send teams of journalists because cars are burning, or are the cars burning because we sent teams of journalists?” asked Patrick Lecocq, editor-in-chief of France 2.

This is the socialist way of dealing with spin. Tell the truth if one must but if we can, simply don’t tell the truth. Seems like the socialists in the democratic party here have learned from the French playbook. I am sure that if fires would kindled and fanned by the French media they would have sent a crew to the White House. Instead we just have to deal with material spewed out that requires a shovel to deal with from the left. Lord help us if they gain complete control in the U.S.

Common sense right? No sex offender should have viagra and certainly not have tax payers stuck with the tab. Governor Schwarzenegger signed a bill eliminating the health care system from paying for the ‘poor sex offenders’ Viagra.

In Washington D.C. it seems that the government had a bright idea. There is a at the end of October which would have redirect Viagra subsidies to Katrina relief. I couldn’t find news of its outcome. Yet in light of the new problems with in New Orleans because the “floodwalls wouldn’t stand up straight” I wonder if the politicians would simply stop the money and send the Viagra. Sure, it wouldn’t work, but neither does sending the money so it seems.

The bright spot of sending the Viagra… if it leaks into the water way it would help restore a flourshing fish population once again following all that ‘toxic’ runoff we heard so much about.

I just saw the first of these videos yesterday on the television. Wow! These are very well done and should be played often. What a contrast to infomercials passed as news by some. Watch and be proud of the work our troups have accomplished. If all of Iraq was as solid as the Kurds the Iraq war would have been a stunning success months ago. No wonder the former leader wanted to kill them. They could make something of the nation while all he could do was pilfer it.
