FEC: Bloggers are Journalists

An advisory opinion by the Federal Election Commission was released saying Fired Up qualifies for the press exemption. The note worthy phrase of the moment from this opinion…

‘…an entity otherwise eligible for the press exception would not lose its eligibility merely because of a lack of objectivity…’”

Thanks to Slashdot for catching this. Good think objectivity isn’t important… too many mainstream media would not be excempted.
