Thanksgiving trees? Holiday trees? - Pass the Chainsaw

Thanks for joining me while I pause from the annual ‘carving the thanksgiving tree’. I decided to join the pc crowd and tone down the usual radical Christian jihadist approach to the holiday season.
Peta warned against the internment of turkeys who are only brought forth with a hood on their head and publicly beheaded. So I read Michelle Malkin’s article and heard about the Thanksgiving Tree. At first I simply thought I should grab the chainsaw and cut a tree down for the occassion. Carving a tree and then consuming it reminded me of Yule Gibbons (remember him?). Then I remembered the school lessons about deforestation.
I was in a dilmma. Michelle’s article sounded good. Draw a thanksgiving tree by tracing my hand like we did when we were kids, except then we created something resembling a turkey. However, using paper still required someone to cut down a tree so I decided to skip Thanksgiving. Perhaps I can still eat the stuffing that was intended for the turkey. I don’t think anyone would mind if I stuffed myself though that just sounds odd.
Its almost time to talk about the Christmas Holiday Tree this year. I see Lowes has ‘Holiday Trees’ for sale. Seems like we are a long way away from the Pilgrims who ate in peace with their Indian friends after a tough winter. After reading “No Thanks To Thanksgiving” I have decided I am full of nuts and want some Turkey after all. Who wants to be miserable like these people anyway. So upset a liberal today and enjoy Thanksgiving.
