Positive Picture - Iraq

While Murth says our troops are “broken, worn out” there continues to be those nagging positive pictures that reveal what many of the troops already know. Whatever some of the trouble makers think, the children and their parents are able to enjoy something that has long been absent: Hope.

Murtha also said, “A military victory is unattainable if you don’t win the hearts and minds of the citizens.” Perhaps if he would look at the faces of such children he might not continue to want to abandon those most vulnerable.
