Presbyterians - Hezbollah Friendship

(HT Atlas Shrugs) In 1983 American Marines were killed. Hezbollah’s hands were covered in the blood of 241 American lives.

These past actions have given them courage in face of American military might.

“Are you Lebanese afraid of the American naval fleets? These naval fleets have come in the past, and were defeated, and if they come again, they will be defeated again…”

They continue to receive encouragement from American church, primarily those who have long ago abandoned their basic Biblical roots. Apparently the Presbyterian Church of the USA (PCUSA) is one of those churches. There isn’t much coverage but FrontPageMag.com covered it with an article called “The Church of Jihad”.

Nevertheless, Qawuq recently found the time in his busy schedule to meet with — of all things — a church group. On October 20th, a delegation from the Presbyterian Church of the USA (PCUSA) met with Qawuq and other Hezbollah leaders for an hour in southern Lebanon as part of their three-week regional tour. Led by the head of the Chicago Presbytery Reverend Bob Reynolds, the meeting was convened for supposedly ???educational??? purposes, with Reverend Reynolds suggesting ???I think one way people can learn from one another is to learn the way people talk about themselves and describe their own reality.???

Certainly it would be interesting to hear from PCUSA what exactly is their ‘reality’ when they fraternize with the enemy who also happens to be a listed terrorist group. Apparently they have much in common with each other according to a quote.

???We have suffered much pressure on the part of Jewish organizations in the U.S. because [of our help in] divesting corporations working with Israel. We want Jerusalem to be a united city..???

Israpundit has an open letter to Presbyterian Church USA members which is also informative. It is something that all Presbyterians need to read to then do something within their organization.

You have a right to know what is being done in your name and with your tax-exempt church donations. During the past few years, the leaders of the Presbyterian Church USA have inexplicably chosen to consort with terrorists (as defined by the U.S. State Department) and use PCUSA’s influence on behalf of terrorists.

Amazing that they can sympathize with the killers and not the victims. That they probably see them as the freedom fighters and not the terrorists. The typical oppressed and mis-understood killers who know when to smile.
