A Weasel is running for office - really!

There are some names best left behind on the campaign trail. There could be some real name calling and it couldn’t be called mudslinging either. Statements like, my opponent is a Weasel likely won’t be heard. But the constituents might hesitate about wanting the pride of having such a name sake as their next congressional representative.

To make matters worse is that this new Republican candidate enters the field just when the high calling of ethics requires candidates to be above board and avoid the appearance of impropriety. That will be hard with the name.

Seems as if Findley won’t be supporting State Sen. Jim Jordan for the 4th Congressional District. Instead they will be fielding Charles ???Chuck??? Weasel to run for the seat vacated by Mike Oxley. So you might ask what platform will ‘Chuck’ be running on?

Weasel also wants to see the American military begin an orderly withdrawal from Iraq, to close all nonvital military bases, and to end foreign financial aid except in emergency humanitarian relief.

Jim Jordan should be able grapple with his opponent and narrow the field by primary time. In the meantime the new addition will help see the issues raised and talked about. Issues which Jim Jordan will represent the conservative position very well.
