“Safe, legal and rare.”

Wasn’t Bill Clinton the darling of the MSM and the liberals who help popularize the “Safe, legal and rare“? So why the hysteria about the Supreme Court appointments or the recent moves by states to exert their rights? Not hard to figure out. Consider that 47,282,293 deaths by abortions have been committed in the United States since 1973.
Consider just how much money is involved in the billion dollar industry. One places the cost of 1st tri-mester abortion between 350-650 dollars. The cost for later abortions will of course drive the cost up. So go with a low figure of 600 dollars per abortion. The total amount would be $28,369,375,800. What happens if you eliminate the milk cow for this industry. So it has to be asked, “Is it really about the mother” everyone is concerned about?
Independent Conservative has an interesting defense of the infant using the Constitution. Not something new but not frequently seen laid out.
So no baby in a mother???s womb can be deprived of life, without due process. Aborted babies have no trial and are never found guilty of any crime.
Given babies in the womb:
* Are alive
* Are not property and cannot be viewed as such
* Have not been convicted of any crimeThey must be protected and it is the states??? duty to protect lives. Therefore South Dakota???s abortion ban is fully Constitutional. In fact, the federal government has the Constitutional duty to protect life if states will not. So the current Roe v. Wade situation turns our Constitution on its head. Roe v. Wade must be overturned, given the ruling is unconstitutional.
Infants in the womb are simply human beings yet to be born. They have committed no crime and certainly are not the private property of a women to be as easily dismissed as human trash. It was this type of treatment in black slavery which led to the abolitionist movement. Are these helpless ones now the new slaves of the 21st century. Use them for research and dispose of them unless it is convenient. I won’t deal with what exceptions I might see as applicable because we are talking about the broader issue and in general.
Everyone reading this should be thankful they weren’t considered something to be trashed. I certainly am.

(HT to SayAnthing) In a wind of refreshing frankness comes some truth about Hollywood. It doesn’t hurt to say such things when one is so established the establishment can’t do any harm.
In an age of stardom and big contracts you see the fruit of the age of self importance.
“I can’t get caught up in the self-importance. People bow to your every wish and you forget where you come from and what you’re doing,” he told the magazine.
“I recently worked with two actors who wouldn’t come out of their trailers for some reason.
“Can you figure that out? It’s insanity. Or they complain because their trailers aren’t big enough.
“Bulls***. It’s a job, like any other, so don’t make a big deal. Be polite, treat the crew with respect and don’t think you’re different.
“I’ve worked with directors who are tyrannical and sadistic - but no longer. I’d rather do something else.”
Rob at SayAnything asks what it has to do with politics. Probably more than many want to admit. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to hear some more honesty about what goes on in the ‘trailers’ of Washington D.C.?

Most news flies by you and you pay little attention. Just today I happened to receive an update about Joel Avore of Greenville who was the pilot of the Small aircraft that crashed near Rackford, OH. Pictures of the crash site can be seen here.
The one article has him in a Toledo hospital but the report I received says he was moved to Ann Arbor U of M hospital.
He has a smashed face, nose and Jaw will have to be rebuilt, he had a broken ankle and when they operated on that they found 10 bones in the ankle area broken, and they had to break another one to get a plate in. He is in Ann Arbor U Of M. Hospital. They thought he was going to lose one of his eyes but praise be to God he can see some out of that eye. He is in a lot of pain and gets a push of morphine every 6 to 8 min. Please keep him in your prayers…
This is a difficult time for the family, especially his wife and two young children. I am still trying to figure out how he missed the house.
