It hadn’t happened in over 50 years and even the media showed up for the results of tonight’s election.
In what had become a hotly contested race for the county chairman’s postion… the end is finally here. Keith Cheney garnered 58 votes to 34 votes by Kelly Kirk. The 24 vote margin gave the Chairman […]

“Eating their own children” is the title of Paul Belien’s article in the Brussels Journal. Paul is perhaps on the best journalists on the cultural changes dramatically changing in the EU. Dramatic changes is hard to imagine from the EU which has some of the most lax moral standards in the world. It is […]

The Real Culprit of “Katrina” Spurs Warnings
May 31, 2006 | 2 Comments
People aren’t always the brightest. It is only magnified when they start depending on the government to do everything for them. It reaches its ultimate height when they elect people like Nagin who hasn’t ensured quality workers and planners which result in no protection of the people in an emergency. But besides “No Bus Used” […]

Third Party in 2008
May 31, 2006 | Leave a Comment
The Fix is reporting that a group of political consultants from both parties are working on starting a new party, Unity ‘08. However, it looks like the “bipartisan” group is mostly Democrats.
My early prediction: Their project will either (a) fizzle, or (b) pull more Democratic votes than Republican, unless (c) they get McCain on board.

South Dakota Abortion Ban Challenged
May 31, 2006 | Leave a Comment
GOP Bloggers is reporting that pro-choicers in South Dakota are putting a referendum on the ballot to attempt to overturn South Dakota’s abortion ban.
It is interesting that they didn’t automatically choose their preferred method of finding a liberal judge. Perhaps there aren’t that many in South Dakota.

Funeral Protest Ban signed!
May 30, 2006 | 1 Comment
Way to go Mr. President. I don’t like the image of some groups protesting at a funeral in the manner they are. The families have substained tragic losses and need time as friends and family. The Patriot Riders have been great in aiding those families. Now it goes with the backing of law.

National Security - Rapid attack missle
May 30, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Sure all missiles are rapid and they attack. But how about the threat of non-nuclear missiles flying out to an enemy within one hour of finding it? Sounds Reagan like to me. So should we do it? Why not be ready to roll. The only ones watching the trident subs are who??

The Answer Is Blowin in the Wind - Gore
May 30, 2006 | Leave a Comment
The world is ending… the world is ending!
Someone talking about the ’second coming of Jesus Christ’? Not this time. It is eco-evangelist Albert (canned) Gore.
In a passionate speech, Mr Gore said: “We face a challenge in the conversation of democracy that we must be up to in order to save the climate balance on […]

Dems - We want Competative Districts NOT
May 30, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Does anyone remember the ballot initiatives that the Dems put on the ballot in Ohio… what… just last year? They were defeated 70 - 30. Oh the whines were heard about non-competitive, one party rule. So in a brilliant move to show the real hypocrisy of the Dems, Republicans propose a similar item in the […]

England’s Daily News is reporting that babies with imperfections are being aborted in England. Babies diagnosed with a club foot and other non-fatal conditions are being aborted.
Why is this arousing a firestorm? Could it be because people can picture a baby with club feet? (Many, including myself, know people with club feet who lead relatively […]

From Valley Forge, across Europe and Asia, and in Afghanistan and Iraq, courageous Americans have given their lives so that others could live in freedom. These Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen took an oath to defend […]

Iran - Propaganda War Ignites further
May 28, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Does this look familiar? Many Americans will remember the hostage crisis. At a time we should have kicked some Iranian bootie over the incident we had Carter clubbing rabbits on the lake. Ohhhh… so glad those days are over. But Iran appears to find glory in the old days.
Captured American Troops? Probably old footage […]

Knockin at Death’s Door - Kevorkian Dying
May 27, 2006 | Leave a Comment
While Expose the Left feels sorry for the 78 year old Kevorkian being on his death bed I am also one not wanting to slam a man about to die. But it will certainly provide a learning tool for his own ethics. Will the man known as Dr. Death choose to die in ‘dignity’ by […]

Congressman Oxley’s - Freddie Mac Story Dies
May 27, 2006 | 2 Comments
We reported that WLIO revealed an investigation into Oxley’s apparent ethical misconduct. As one of the highest ranking members in the House he decided for no real apparent reason to step down. So it would have (or should have been) big news. Since the WILO report there has been no further news on it. For […]
