Reconquista 101

Posted by Conservative Culture On May - 3 - 2006

Michelle Malkin has an excellent review of the movement to carve out of America a new land. She has both a good article and also an excellent video at HotAir. Most of what she says should already be known by American students but seems to have been misplaced during the pc training.

America is filled with radical groups who are no longer on the fringe of America. They are using lies to convince America that they ought to lay down and hand the nation over. Don’t expect this issue to go away anytime soon. Expect the lies to increase and unless Americans want to re-educate themselves on American history and stand up for their own nation… our money may be looking a little different down the road.

Tornado in a Classroom

Posted by Conservative Culture On May - 3 - 2006

Where was this cool stuff when I went to school? How much more fun can students have than creating a real tornado in the classroom. Check out the science classroom tornado here. Pictures can also be seen here.

Ohio Races - 4th District Races

Posted by Conservative Culture On May - 3 - 2006

It was a long day working the polls. New equipment. A few new election rules that affected us this primary and will all change before the next election. That said, my precinct had between 30-35%. Not bad but would be nice if that were double that figure. The races I was privy to be able to watch come in were the following.

Preston, Vern 25,116 31.33%
Batte, Leslie K. 22,116 27.59%
Willamowski, John R. 32,931 41.08%

It looks like Preston not only outspent Willamowski but didn’t get much of a return on the money. Batte was key in kicking some judicial boote. (If you heard the commercial you will get the pronunciation).

Jordan, Jim 37,659 50.57%

Guglielmi, Frank A. 22,253 29.88%
Nestor, Kevin 8,407 11.29%
Stahl, James R. 2,580 3.46%
Martin, Nathan J. 2,341 3.14%
Weasel, Charles W. 1,230 1.65%

This horse race was filled with some great moments. From Weasel who certainly wasn’t the conservative candidate but was a light hearted candidate. Even likable for a Weasel :)

Nathan Martin was also an interesting candidate who was truly conservative. His lack of name recognition wasn’t overcome by his Iraq war experience. A long shot, he went on the attack hoping to gain ground. That didn’t occur. But he is a likable candidate and hopefully he won’t drop off the political map after this race.

Jordan overcame nearly 2 million dollars spent by Findley candidates. Not an easy task but his consistent message, solid record and opposition to Taft taxes brought in over 50% of the vote despite the number of candidates. I look forward to seeing Jordan as our rep in Washington. How will he do inside the beltway? It isn’t kind to any new comer, much like the Newt Revolution, it will be refreshing to have consistent conservative values in Washington.
