ACLU Supports Unsecured Borders

Stop the ACLU’s article “ACLU Calls on President Not to Deploy Military Troops to Deter Immigrants at the Mexican Border” reveals again whose side they are on.

The following can be attributed to Anthony D. Romero, ACLU Executive Director:

???Turning immigration enforcement policy into another military operation is not the answer. The president???s proposed deployment of National Guard troops violates the spirit of the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the military from getting into the business of civilian law enforcement.

Stop the ACLU’s response is on target.

Excuse me? Repelling an invasion by a foreign nation is a civilian duty? Mexico is invading us one illegal at a time. It only makes sense to use the military to help stop the invasion.

Securing the border ought to be both parties number one priority. All the terrorists have to do is fund some desperate, violent criminals from Mexico to stroll safely into the United States to cause havoc. What do you do when the Jihadists find men willing to become walking bombs in our city streets so that their family back home is taken care of for the rest of their lives. It might not be as strong a driving force as radical Islam but lots of money can make strange bedfellows.
