Howard. McKellen’s stunning statement decries the Bible for not having a ‘fiction’ disclaimer at the beginning of the book. However unbelievable the Bible is too him he does find the ‘Duh” Vinci Code a “Jolly Good Story”. (listen to it)

“Well, I’ve often thought the Bible should have a disclaimer in the front saying this is fiction. I mean, walking on water, it takes an act of faith. And I have faith in this movie. Not that it’s true, not that it’s factual, but that it’s a jolly good story. And I think audiences are clever enough and bright enough to separate out fact and fiction, and discuss the thing after they’ve seen it.”

The fact that intelligent people ought to see the movie as what it really is… doesn’t mean that they will. Remember that people often would rather believe a lie rather than truth. Don’t believe that statement? How do you think Kennedy and other extreme libs get into office? They believe a lie no matter how much truth you point out. So it is with this movie. Let it run. Those who know the truth will see it for what it is. For those more inclined to believe the lie will find all sorts of ‘their own truth’ in it.

California Conservative believes it will end up in the heap of bad films like the “Last Temptation of Christ.”
