In the effort to remove morality and install the acceptance of any ‘loving’ act as acceptable behavior has begun to reap its harvest. There is very little behavior that is within the scope of human nature that isn’t being accepted and then practiced.
In the las test news over the last decade (1994-2004) the reports coming out that there has been a significant increase in both oral sex and sodomy. While such behavior avoids certain problems it presents others and doesn’t resolved the underlying moral issue of proper behavior within the freedoms granted to us by God. Freedom is a gift granted and it carries certain responsibilities. What is becoming common behavior is not really freedom but enslavement to the lowest level of human nature.
More teens are having oral sex than sexual intercourse, studies have shown. A report by the National Center for Health Statistics last year found that 55 percent of all boys ages 15 to 19 and 54 percent of girls the same age acknowledged having oral sex some time in their lives. By comparison, 49 percent of the boys and 53 percent of the girls reported having intercourse.
While there are a variety of googled sites on the topic you might consider that STDS are on the rise. Pregnancy may be avoided but a heavier cost is being extracted. Costs only avoided by a one-partner for life situation.
Almost half of all students in grades nine through twelve have had sex.
* Half of all girls are likely to be infected with an STD during their first sexual experience.
* Nearly one in four sexually active teens have an STD.
* Teens will contract nearly one in four of the 15 million new cases of STDs this year.
* Teens make up 10% of the population, but they contract up to 25% of all STDs.
* Herpes (specifically herpes simplex type 2 or “genital herpes”) has skyrocketed 500% among white teenagers in the last 20 years.
* One in five children above age twelve tests positive for herpes type 2.
* One in ten teenage girls has Chlamydia; half of all new Chlamydia cases each year are diagnosed in girls 15 to 19 years old.
While some are reaping the ‘benefits’ (??) of the sexual revolution one wonders if the tide of human nature can be restrained. While the world looks for answers to the dilemma we find ourselves just one step closer to the city of Sodom. The sexual revolution didn’t lead us to freedom but the very opposite: slavery to our own human nature. Where it leads… well I will let you figure that one out.
