Prostitutes Retrained For Geriatrics

Either its hurray for being and older person needing care, Viagra sales or both. In an odd mixture of church, government, prostitution and health care it appears Germany is gearing up to equip prostitutes to be health care professionals.

About 30 prostitutes, aged 20 to 40, are to take up a two-year training course for auxiliary nurses in North Rhine Westphalia, reports the Telegraph.

Certainly a noble idea to turn young girls from a life of … well you know… to filling a shortage of health care professionals. Minus all the jokes I am sure go around on this quirky from Ananova it still didn’t help when the protestant church’s wealfare spokesperson added these comments.

Rita K√?hn, of the protestant church’s welfare programme, said: “They are in general very good at dealing with people, in addition to which they don’t get squeamish and have absolutely no fear about touching or being touched.”

Ahhh… what kind of program is it that the church is running again?
