Interesting how people complain all the time. Even Nancy P. who dreams of being Speaker of the House is a multi-million dollar babe wanna be. She complains about the rich.
Having worked the primary it amazes me that we are satisfied with 30-35 percent of the vote turning out. I believe it should be much higher. People need to be more informed and involved. That is the basis of a democratic republic. It would be nice to have at least 70 percent turnout each election. Why should 17 percent of the people be able to raise our taxes?

I keep hearing pundits whining about the growing gap between the rich and the poor. I have difficulty empathizing with that viewpoint for two reasons:
1. Poor people can vote.
2. There are more poor people than rich people.In theory, those unhappy poor people could vote to tax the living piss out of the super rich. Why don???t they do it?
