Presidential Buzz

The Fix, a Washington Post blog, has an interesting column this morning about the 2008 Presidential Buzz. It talks about the 10 candidates-5 from each major party-who are garnering the most attention. The Republicans are: George Allen, Rudy Guiliani, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Mike Huckabee.
If it comes down to these 5 candidates–which is to say, if Sam Brownback and any other noted conservatives considering running do not run–the choice is easy. Mike Huckabee is the only true social conservative of the five.
(For substantiation, see previous posts on Allen, McCain, Romney, and Huckabee. Guiliani’s liberal views are so well known that I saw no need to comment further.)
