Senate - “I was for the wall before I voted against it”

Thanks to California Conservative who put it so nicely.

Just when you thought that the Senate had ‘gotten religion’ and was serious about tightening border security, you read an article like this and you realize that they aren’t serious.

What started off like an old time religion altar call turned out that the cats never changed their spots.

Less than two months after voting overwhelmingly to build 370 miles of new fencing along the border with Mexico, the Senate yesterday voted against providing funds to build it. “We do a lot of talking. We do a lot of legislating,” said Sen. Jeff Sessions, the Alabama Republican whose amendment to fund the fence was killed on a 71-29 vote. “The things we do often sound very good, but we never quite get there.”

With only two Dems voting to actually fund the project you can imagine that the American people will remember that this November. On the other hand Republicans voting this November should take note of the Rhino herd trying to re-elected. Time to put some real conservatives in their place.

Someone who knows should post all the pork they passed for their own districts while they let the borders be overrun.

Allah Egg - Will it leave egg on Islam’s face

What a title. I refrained from the laying an egg format. But just one more religion producing their wonder miracles. From Jesus face on totillia, vissions of Mary to the Allah miracle chicken.

A chicken in a Kazakh village has laid an egg with the word “Allah” inscribed on its shell, state media reported Thursday.

“Our mosque confirmed that it says ‘Allah’ in Arabic,” Bites Amantayeva, a farmer from the village of Stepnoi in eastern Kazakhstan, told state news agency Kazinform.

“We’ll keep this egg and we don’t think it’ll go bad.”

The news agency said the egg was laid just after a powerful hail storm hit the village.

I am waiting for some outraged jihadist chicken to call for a declaration from the local Mullah to declare a jihad against the chicken village for defaming Allah’s great name. The next will be to recruit a young idealistic chicken to wear a body bomb to make sure they don’t do it again.
