Embryonic Stem Cell Bill Vetoed

President Bush did the right thing yesterday when he vetoed H.R. 810, a bill that would have enabled taxpayer-funded Embryonic Stem Cell research.

Sens. Sam Brownback and George Allen did the right thing by voting against the bill. However, Sens. McCain and Frist (Republicans) and Clinton, Kerry, and Feingold (Democrats) all voted in favor of forcing the American taxpayers to fund research on and harvesting from the bodies of babies.
