Gun Makers Want to Boost Death Toll - New York Press

Delving deep into the mind of a liberal is a dangerous thing. There is a level at which one can almost understand their ‘reasoning’. Yet a quick look at reality and a few hard questions bring most minds back to stable ground. Read this take on the gun issue.

New York City suffers hundreds of gun-related deaths each year, but some weapon manufacturers are bent on boosting the toll in 2006. And if the last week is any indication, the city’s murder enthusiasts had a lot to be thankful for.

Ahhh… yes those gun amkers want to reduce the population so no one is left to own guns. Or worse yet. Their global scheme to kill off all the innocent people so only the violent are left to create more wars and increase gun sales. But the liberal mind sees more.

…three men were found in possession of “cop-killer” handguns that are specially engineered to penetrate the protective body armor of police officers. This type of activity, while all-too-routine, is exactly what Mayor Bloomberg pledged to squash (along with and last vestige of NRA backing) with his much-heralded, bipartisan gun-control legislation last May. In it, he publicly indicted 15 out-of-state “rogue gun dealers,”…

A girl gets killed. The answer isn’t the sentencing of criminal activity. Certainly it isn’t the death penalty of violent offenders. They need understanding, treatment and eventual release into the society once again. No, the answer is in getting those ‘evil’ gun dealers/manufacturers. If possible we will get all the guns off the street. All but the illegal ones. If we get those off the street then only the government has guns and the thugs of New York will have to resort to baseball bats to do their dirty work.

The company, to whom at least 21 guns used in New York City crimes have been traced, bemoaned the legislation, citing the always-popular Second Amendment. While the lives of our friends and neighbors are doubtlessly valuable, you have to sympathize with our nation’s beleaguered artillery merchants. These days, it’s getting harder and harder to make an honest buck selling killing machines.

It appears the the liberals want to remove those killing machines from the hands of potential victims. What would their motive be? They hide behind the innocent who have died because of thugs. Those same killing machines have also save lives. Instead of taking the guns off the street how about removing the violent thugs from society. Or should we talk about the manufacturer’s of violent people next?
