10 Questions To Ask Your Biology Teacher

Posted by Conservative Culture On September - 1 - 2006

Great little article by Cao’s Blog. There is much that doesn’t get asked in the ongoing ‘forced’ conversion of school children to Darwinism. So here are the first 5 questions. Please visit her blog via this link to view the rest. The original post appears here with more background information. You may want to bookmark it… or this page :)

1. Origin of Life. Why do textbooks claim that the 1953 Miller-Urey experiment shows how life’s building blocks may have formed on the early Earth—when conditions on the early Earth were probably nothing like those used in the experiment, and the origin of life remains a mystery?

2. Darwin’s Tree of Life. Why don’t textbooks discuss the “Cambrian explosion,” in which all major animal groups appear together in the fossil record fully formed, instead of branching from a common ancestor—thus contradicting the evolutionary tree of life?

3. Homology. Why do textbooks define homology as similarity due to common ancestry, then claim that it is evidence for common ancestry—a circular argument masquerading as scientific evidence?

4. Vertebrate Embryos. Why do textbooks use drawings of similarities in vertebrate embryos as evidence for their common ancestry—even though biologists have known vertebrate embryos are not most similar in their early stages, and the drawings are faked?

5. Archaeopteryx. Why do textbooks portray this fossil as the missing link between dinosaurs and modern birds—even though modern birds are probably not descended from it, and its supposed ancestors do not appear until millions of years after it?

Anti-War Nut Goes to War - Kills the President

Posted by Conservative Culture On September - 1 - 2006

They hyper left dream wish - that someone would be brave stupid enough to kill the president. The very ones appalled at the killing of terrorists are eager to keep alive their hope that some would “just do it” to the President.

Held up by a secret service bodyguard in his dying moments after being shot in the stomach, this is President Bush being assassinated.

Surrounded by a crowd of panicking onlookers, the American leader is pictured just seconds after being gunned down by a sniper following an anti-war demonstration.

Jawa asks the same point that came to my mind. It’s the left just wondering why it isn’t reality.

Forget the new “docudrama” in which Bush is assassinated, given the rhetoric, isn’t the real question why hasn’t Bush already been assassinated? I mean, if you actually believe that insane stuff, what’s stopping you?

Thanks to Stop the ACLU for the Hat Tip who nailed it. This kind of thinking is just a natural extension of their thinking.

Drudge is calling it shocking. Nothing is shocking anymore. I would call it typical. After seeing all of the kooky 911 conspiracies and terrorist sympathy in the world something like this is only the natural next step.

If these people get into power can you imagine the direction the country would take. Scary.

Katrina Not (entirely) to blame for Devastation

Posted by Conservative Culture On September - 1 - 2006

Wizbang has a fascinating analysis of Hurricane Katrina and the ensuing devastation.

Apparently the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers admitted that the levees were in such a condition that even a minor storm could have done them in. All in all, this is a fascinating analysis.
