Update: Rhymes with Right shows support for Mitt Romney. The claim that Mitt has support from the right and is growing was of interest to me. Especially considering considering Mitts non-conservative views. Perhaps it is more pragmatic than issues. It must be considering this post.
Web sites with fans marketing Romney as the best choice to succeed President Bush.

In a stunning (like really… not) moment information about the real Mitt has come to light. This… if verified… should pretty much eliminate his electability to the Presidency by eliminating both conservative and right leaning Republicans. Unless the only other person is Kerry, Gore or Hillary, I see no possible support for this candidate.
Gov. Mitt Romney is NOT the pro-family champion he is pretending to be!
Gov. Mitt Romney’s actions alone made “homosexual marriages” begin in Massachusetts in May 2004. The Massachusetts Supreme Court’s opinion was that it is “unconstitutional” to bar “homosexual marriages”, and the Court told the Legislature to change the marriage law. However, the Legislature did nothing!
But Romney acted on his own and had new “marriage” licenses printed. He issued an Executive Order requiring Justices of the Peace to perform “homosexual marriages” if asked, or be fired – even though no law was changed! This was a violation of his oath to uphold the Massachusetts Constitution.
If that isn’t enough read this… for the entire article here.
Gov. Romney says he will support “domestic partnerships” for homosexual couples if the new “VoteOnMarriage” amendment is passed in Massachusetts. In 2004, he voiced support for civil unions (according to the Boston Globe). In 2001, Citizen Romney did NOT endorse the first Massachusetts marriage amendment, was embarrassed that his family members had signed the petition, and said the amendment was “too extreme.” (Boston Globe)
Mitt Romney distributed a pink flyer at “Boston Pride” events in June 2002 during his campaign for Governor. It read, “Mitt and Kerry wish you a great Pride weekend! All citizens deserve equal rights, regardless of their sexual preference.”
Gov. Romney flip-flopped on abortion, first saying he’s “pro-choice” when he ran against Ted Kennedy for the Senate (1994) and when he ran for Governor (2002). But now he’s telling conservatives that he’s firmly pro-life.
While this is slanted news it shouldn’t be too hard to prove or disprove quickly. However, knowing some of his background on issues (covered here) I will be surprised if this is refuted. One good piece of news is… this narrows the field quickly. Romney farewell! Next.
