Strickland Votes Early In Lisbon

Why wait to find out you are really eligible to vote in Lisbon? Just do it.

Columbus - — With a hearing looming Tuesday over a challenge to his eligibility to vote, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ted Strickland took matters into his own hands. Literally.

Strickland, taking advantage of a new law that eases restrictions on early voting, voted absentee Friday morning at the Columbiana County Board of Elections, according to a voter log kept by the Lisbon-based elections board.

In a brilliant move by the Dems on Lisbon’s BOE they created a legal problem that may end the challenge to Strickland’s ‘voter/tax’ fraud issue for now. But should Strickland win the issue will follow him into office. It becomes a essential that he wins so he can press to have this issue put to rest.

LISBON — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ted Strickland will get a hearing over his residency, but not today and not before the Columbiana County Board of Elections.

On Monday, the 7th District Court of Appeals prohibited the board from holding the hearing on the voter registration complaint filed against the Sixth District congressman who claims Lisbon as home.

Attorneys for Strickland filed a mandamus action with the appellate court Friday, claiming the board failed to take action on the complaint within the 10-day period required by statute.

It also seems to be the first time a candidate didn’t do a photo op of voting in your own district. No surprise because he pays taxes in one place and votes in another. Sure must be nice to be that secure in your life to pull that stunt off. If anyone else did it… like me… I would be facing the judge for sure.

Lincoln Logs still believes that Strickland has voted illegally numerous times before. Does it really matter t anyone or will this become the new voting standard. Just vote wherever the “heck” you want.
