Illegal Drug Smugglers Kill Illegal Immigrants in Arizona

This is just odd. It appears the borders may be getting too dangerous for illegals to cross. Something needs to be done. You never know… this could migrate north. Don’t worry. Gov. Janet Napolitano is right on it. She plans to meet with Mexican President Fox. In the meantime I wonder if our troops and border agents are safe.

Gov. Janet Napolitano began two days of meetings with Mexican President Felipe Calder—n on Thursday to discuss border security and economic issues.

The Democrat’s mission took on added urgency after an incident northwest of Tucson.

Three illegal immigrants, believed to have crossed the Mexican border into Arizona, were killed and two injured after gunmen with assault rifles met them at a known smuggling point.

One man was found dead on a dirt road near the Silverbell Mine 20 miles northwest of Tucson. Authorities later found two more men dead a few miles north in the cab of a pickup truck that had been carrying the migrants.

Ohio Lt. Gov Fisher: Announces Wind Production

Posted by Conservative Culture On February - 10 - 2007

Yes. It’s official as of today. The Administration of Ohio wants you to know that they are in favor of Wind Production. A memo in triplicate is being sent out that the hot air will begin blowing from the administration offices so that Ohio can become mideast oil independent. It isn’t clear how long the administration will take to produce enough wind to achieve this goal… but by the looks of things it won’t be long.

Border Agents Who Testified Against Jailed Agents: FIRED!!

Posted by Conservative Culture On February - 10 - 2007

Other agents have been terminated for changing their story. Now it seems as if the there is more dirt. And the reason the one changed his story… and didn’t show up to help the agents is also shaky.

The termination proposal also noted Vasquez told prosecutors that Compean used an expletive to describe drug smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila when the smuggler threw dirt in his eyes during a tussle prior to the shootings. Vasquez’s sworn statement of March 18, 2005, contains no mention of an expletive.

Vasquez also said that when he opened the door to the van, he couldn’t smell the nearly 800 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle, contradicting statements made by other agents on the scene, according to trial testimony.

In trial transcripts of Vasquez’s testimony obtained by the Daily Bulletin, Vasquez tries to explain why he lied to investigators.

“So this statement, your March 18 statement, would be inaccurate,” asked Stephen Peters, co-counsel for Ramos, on Feb. 24, 2006.

“On that part, yes,” Vasquez replied. He explained that he wasn’t sure why he thought Compean called for backup while pursuing a narcotics suspect, and did not directly answer Peters’ question as to why other agents went to Compean’s aid.

Jaquez’s original statements to investigators and his testimony at trial also contain several contradictions.

“On April 15, 2005, you provided false statements during your interview with DHS (Office of Inspector General) investigators regarding the February 17, 2005, shooting incident,” his removal document reads.

“You told DHS OIG that when you asked (Agent) Compean what had happened, he never mentioned the shooting incident to you. On February 27, you testified in court and admitted that you gave two different statements to DHS OIG investigators.”

According to DHS Office of Inspector General investigation memos written less than a month after the shooting, all nine of the agents at the shooting scene, including two supervisors, knew about the shooting and failed to report it.

There is more than people have let spilled. The real tragedy is that the agents are still in jail. Jailed because of the illegal immigrant dealing drugs across border and testified… and lies created in court. Doesn’t bode well for the prosecution I would say. Meanwhile one agent is still in bad shape after a beating by Illegals.
