Sex Offender Exposed - Do they really change?

It started with an article on MySpace Sex Offenders. Then it hit… the comments. The most vile one was deleted prior to it being seen that ZMan who has his own story to tell turned ugly. Veiled and not so veiled threats under a different name… but from the same computer. His tale of persecution and change doesn’t seem so believable. Instead he does what a predator naturally does… keep cover and look for way to act out his real personality undercover.

And YES I am a sex offender, you can read my story here. I’m sure you won’t believe me, you’ll think I’m denying what I did, or minimizing it or some other BS, but I don’t care what you think.

Sex offender have become the next “hated” group of today, like so many other people in the past, like Blacks, Jews, Muslims, Mexicans, etc.

To say all sex offenders should be on a colony or some of the other things you say, that is just draconian. People fear what they don’t understand, so open some web sites, books, read about it and you will see. Hell, go to the sex offender in your neighborhood, and talk with him/her awhile, I bet you may be shocked. Yes, he could be some crazy idiot, there is idiots everywhere, but like I said, most are nice people who made 1 mistake, like me, in their past and are catching hell again and again and again for it.

I’m sure since I told you I WAS a sex offender you probably hate my guts now and your see me in a different lite, that is typical… I really don’t care, I just want fair laws, PERIOD!!

One more, I’ll get my computer hacker buddy to write a virus program, send it to you in an email, so when you click it, it will install itself, and start uploading and downloading kiddy porn to all your email contacts. Then you’ll be joining me on the sex offender registry…. MU HA HA HA HA!!!! Call me a monster, I’ll show you what a monster can do…

Oh, and also my buddy the thief, he’s an expert at getting into your house…

Changed… hardly. He still is looking for a way to hack, break-in and violate people. He has just been exposed.

    The Child Safety Act of 2005, now known as the Adam Walsh Act, is touted as the strongest law in the land to protect your children from sex offenders. This is the magic bullet that is going to stop predators in their tracks. Those are the claims made by Rep. Mark Foley from Florida. It didn’t seem to keep him from hitting on underage males but he has the solution for everyone else. HA!

    John Walsh was the help and inspiration behind this bill. Something created by two such personally screwed-up. power-hungry, political salesmen has got to be a success. If you believe that you wont have a problem with the 25 million starting figure I have some land in Florida that I will sell you. Anyone who falls for this needs to live in Florida, home of Foley and Walsh.

    England just finished a 10-year study that shows public registration does more harm than good. They are also equipped with the intelligence to use the facts and restrict the registry from the public. Their actions prove that the children are the top priority. The British put America to shame.

    Megan’s Law has been in effect for more than 10 years. I want to see a parade of children n that have been saved. But there are no such children. In all of this time there is no proof that registration has saved a single child.

    New Jersey is doing a study on the effects of registration. The preliminary report shows that a decline in sex crimes began four years prior to Megan’s Law and has continued the steady decline. The final report is due out early next year and is not expected to take a different direction from where it is now. Expect it to say that there is no proof that registration has saved a single child. You already know that because I just told you. The big push for funding must come prior to any announcement that proves we have already wasted billions of dollars on registration. An uninformed decision is to their advantage.

    “Too often, sex offenders continue to harm children even after a previous conviction,” said Attorney General Gonzales.

    His Mama must have dropped him on his head when he was a baby! He gives a broad statement with no substance. Someone needs to point him to the Dept. of Justice website and to the study that was done by his own government agency that shows that during the first 3 years after release the recidivism rate is 5.3% and it is DROPPING!

    Through the first six months of FY 2007, 757 defendants were sentenced to prison. If this pace continues, over 1,500 defendants will receive prison sentences this fiscal year — a 22 percent increase over FY 2006. quote from article

    This is another jewel I want to share. Who was arrested? Are these repeat offenders? Did they commit a new crime or are parole violations included? Upping the number of people we put in prison is such a lofty goal. Now, what kind of programs do we have geared toward prevention?

    I don’t know about anyone else but I am overwhelmed by all of this ignorance. Maybe I am looking at things wrong but I thought our intent was to keep children safe. Once again we have been given a grand plan that works after harm has been done? Do we want prevention or do we want our kids used as bait so we can get right to the punishment phase?

    We need to take this mountain of money and invest it in education. If our leaders are examples of the brightest among us we are in deep do-do.

    A public debate is the American way and better that than committing crimes in retaliation. That goes for both sides of the issue.

    Well, should not these people be allowed to get their lives back together after the pay their debt to society or I am I jsut a sick monster for suggesting that SEX OFFENDERS have human rights?
