Strickland Loses 14 points in poll
May 21, 2007 |
Who really cares but the first “high” poll is a farse and I expect it to drop further over time.
Gov. Ted Strickland brushed off recent suggestions from Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern that Strickland would make a good vice president.
“No. I’m very happy being governor,” Strickland said.
The Ohio poll released last week put Strickland’s approval ratings at 68 percent, but a poll by Quinnipiac University released the next day pegged it at 54 percent.
“I lost 14 points overnight. So I felt really upbeat yesterday, and a little depressed today,” Strickland joked the day the second poll came out.
