Preacher Obama Exposed - Links Conservatives to Jihadists

He was preaching to the choir of a 1,000 members of the United Church of Christ that believe in the same liberal line he believes in. Found this nice commentary by Grant Swank. You can read it all here…. below is an excerpt.

It is not biblical truth. It is man-made fabrication which permits disobeying God conveniently. Obama is at the front of the line when it comes to undercutting God’s revealed ethic and he knows it.

Sweet-voiced Obama puts on a Christ-face of sorts. He says he is concerned about poverty, education and lifting the living standards of all Americans.

How can that be? Obama turns his face against the poor child in mother’s womb. He educates the young to have sex outside marriage and have sex with the same gender. He lowers the nation’s ethical standards with his religious show that is directly contrary to God’s will.

“’I don’t know what Bible they’re reading, but it doesn’t jibe with my version,’”
Obama piously declared to his listeners.

That’s where Obama reveals himself as being filled with other than the Holy Spirit. He has given himself away as a betrayer, a Judas in the camp. He writes his own divine writ and calls it “the Bible.” His “version” is surely the liberal take on a religion other than posited within the time-honored Old and New Testaments.

Mr. Obama, may I ask you a serious question: What version do you have which you yourself name ‘the Bible’ for it certainly has no liking to what the rest of us biblical believers are reading for doctrinal insight.

“In 1972, the church was the first to ordain an openly gay man. Two years ago, the church endorsed same-sex marriage, the largest Christian denomination to do so. Obama believes that states should decide whether to allow gay marriage, and he opposes a constitutional amendment against it.

“Conservative Christian bloggers have linked Obama to what they call the ‘unbiblical’ teachings of his church. Theological conservatives believe gay relationships violate Scripture, while more liberal Christians emphasize the Bible’s social justice teachings.”

Well, at least the Associated Press got it right.

Obama has also linked conservatives to being like jihadists. The language has always said that Jihadists have hijacked the Muslim faith. In the same style conservatives in America have hijacked the Christian faith. Who has… wasn’t it the liberals. Ah… transference of blame.

Faith got hijacked, partly because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, all too eager to exploit what divides us,” the Illinois senator said.

Perhaps this line is used because he is leading the “religious left” campaign. If one knows their Old Testament perhpas this is like Israel which enjoyed it’s many idols (including ones that sacrificed babies - ie: Molech) and hold to a symbol of worshiping God. As Obama says he loves doing the Lord’s work.

“Doing the Lord’s work is a thread that’s run through our politics since the very beginning,” Obama told church members. “And it puts the lie to the notion that the separation of church and state in America — a principle we all must uphold and that I have embraced as a constitutional lawyer and most importantly as a Christian — means faith should have no role in public life.”

Yes, it’s a thread that unraveled at murdering innocent life and endorsing sodomy as a natural extension of a society that listens to God. Hijacked… yes… but not by the conservatives.

Ohio’s Killer Cop - Such a Generous Man

A pregnant woman only a short time away from giving birth went missing.

Searchers gathered in Canton, Ohio, Thursday to begin a sweep for a heavily pregnant woman believed to have disappeared last week.

Jessie Davis, whose baby is due July 3, was last heard from in a phone call with her mother on June 13. Two days later, her mother checked on Davis’s home and found it in shambles, with the furniture overturned, a comforter missing and Davis’s two-year-old son wandering around alone.

The little boy told investigators: “Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy’s in rug.”

More than 1,000 volunteers formed a line about two football fields long Thursday to search the rural areas around the home of the missing woman in northeast Ohio’s Lake Township.

It appears this missing woman was taken out of this world (along with the baby) by her boyfriend police officer pledged to protect and defend. I guess that only includes non-girlfriends and once the story is out… just how much she deserved what she got.

The Stark County Sheriff’s Department refused to discuss the arrest, saying any information made public would hurt their case. Ferrell was to be arraigned Monday, Wilson said.

It appears that another female helped in the cover up and has also been arrested. There will be double murder charges at this point because a baby was also killed in the murder.

In the meantime it appears “no one saw this coming” which is almost always hard to believe.

Cutts’ stepmother, Barbara Cutts, on Monday called her stepson a generous man who was good with kids and coached youth soccer, basketball and football. She said she and Cutts’ father last saw him Saturday at his house in Plain Township outside North Canton, where he appeared drained and exhausted.

“It’s very hard to accept,” said Barbara Cutts, 46, a nurse’s aide. “A lot of people are looking at him like a bad person, but he’s not, he really isn’t.”

Yes… certainly a role model for other officers and the community… including the children he coached. One might even say “hey, we all make mistakes”. This will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Unfortunately this story has already seen the loss of two lives and families will never get them back. The children are now without a mother… and watched on the sidelines until they caught him. Can anyone say death penalty?

Slap Slap McCain - Feingold (Marriage From Hell)

Posted by Conservative Culture On June - 26 - 2007

The Presidential race is already hot and heavy. So in the midst of the campaign season for 2008 it was nice to see the High Court dismantle parts of McCain - Feingold. Perhaps one of the worst pieces of legislation (hard to say because lately there have been so many) which attacked the fundamental right of free speech. One of the groups most hurt was the pro-life movement. By the way have you noticed just how bad the bills have been when they are so called bi-partisan…. (campaign reform, finances, school initiatives and especially the immigration bill).

The case, FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life, challenged part of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 that bars corporations and unions from using general funds for broadcast ads that mention the name of a federal candidate within 30 days of a primary election and 60 days of a general election.

“The court today has rejected the audacious attempt by Senator McCain and his allies to overturn the First Amendment’s protection and empower incumbent politicians with the power to ban public criticism,” said James Bopp, lead counsel for Wisconsin Right to Life.

“The American Revolution was fought, and the First Amendment enacted, precisely to protect the people’s right to criticize the government,” Bopp said.

They might remember that when they talk about limiting free speech of conservatives with the “fairness doctrine”. Here is some more background from the Chicago Tribune.

The decision involved ads that Wisconsin Right to Life wanted to broadcast during the 2004 election campaign. The spots denounced efforts to block Senate votes on President Bush’s judicial nominees and urged citizens to contact their senators, Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold. But the 2002 federal campaign finance law made it a crime for corporations or unions to run ads mentioning a candidate for office (which Feingold was) within 30 days of a primary or 60 days of a general election. So Wisconsin Right to Life went to court arguing that the ban infringed on its freedom of speech. This week, by a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court agreed.

Previously, the court had said Congress may ban such ads if they amount to attempts to influence the outcome of an election — even if the commercials don’t specifically advocate voting for or against a candidate. But as Chief Justice John Roberts explained in the court’s opinion, that doesn’t give the Federal Election Commission the power to suppress genuine “issue ads” merely because they mention a candidate.

As a rule, he said, only spots that are the “functional equivalent” of campaign ads may be banned. If, on the other hand, a commercial “may reasonably be interpreted as something other than an appeal to vote for or against a specific candidate,” it must be allowed.

I would like to say ding dong the wicked witch is dead but perhaps this is the first of more steps to gut this horrible piece of legislation.
