When Libs Really Don’t Want to Kill

All we have heard is you must allow embryonic stem cell research… but called it stem cell research. The line has never produced anything worthy of note but rather a pipe dream of anticipation. In the meantime the life that donated the cells was destroyed. Instead of destroying their critics supporters of embryonic stem cell research could have done the compassionate thing… “We will not continue this line until we can figure out a way to save the life of the embryo.”

Did they? No… but someone appears to have been working on it. It appears that embryonic stem cells can now be harvested (perhaps) without destroying life. Now only if they put that much effort into using the promising adult stem cells.

Discovery may ease opposition to research

Scientists said they grew colonies of human stem cells without harming the embryos from which they came, 10 months after making a similar announcement, only to acknowledge the embryos they used were destroyed.
