Jordan Calls Out Democratice Leadership
July 31, 2007 |
It’s high time that conservative Republicans call out and expose the liberal desire for a defeat in Iraq. They have done everything possible to generate that defeat despite their “cover” of being patriotic. However their actions and words expose them their true political nature. Below are comments from Congressman Jordan and here is the article that has the Dems Top Man talking about how damaging a good report in Iraq would be. Remember… keep a liberal talking long enough and they will expose themselves and their true intent.
WASHINGTON – Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) today urged House Democrat leadership to repudiate comments made by Majority Whip James E. Clyburn (D-SC) implying that a positive progress report on Iraq by Army General David Petraeus could stand in the way of the Democrats’ political agenda.
“To even imply that a party is staking its political future on the success of America’s enemies is a slap in the face to every man and woman in uniform,†Jordan said.
In a Monday interview with the Washington Post, Clyburn said it would be a “real big problem†for Democrats if General Petraeus’s expected September report on the military, political, and economic situation in Iraq shows signs of progress in that country.
“First, the Democrat Party tried what it called a ‘slow-bleed’ strategy to get its way by withholding funds from the troops,†Jordan said. “Now it admits that American successes in the war on terror hurt its political plans.â€
Jordan, who returned recently from a congressional delegation visit to Iraq, said that American troops are in high spirits, and that their efforts have helped coalition forces make significant progress in recent months.
“If there is one thing all Americans can agree on, it’s that winning beats losing every time,†said Jordan. “We must all stand behind our troops as they work to complete their mission and come home.â€
Can you also say traitor? A person who desires the enemy to be victorious for your own political gain… for that is what they are.
