Another Asherah Pole “Christian” Church
August 24, 2007 |
Much like the religion of the days of the Book of Kings (during their worst days) so has segments of the so called “Christian” church. Embracing full fledged immorality. Here is another story where God is replaced with the Asherah Pole.
Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia’s first and only openly gay Christian pastor vowed on Thursday to go ahead with plans to open a church embracing homosexuals, bisexuals and transsexuals, despite government protests.
Reverend Ouyang Wen Feng, an ethnic Chinese Malaysian ordained in the United States, announced last week that he would set up the church by 2010, prompting Malaysia’s tourism minister to say the government would block the plan.
“We are going to set up a church just like any other one but the only difference is that we affirm and welcome those who openly declare themselves gays, lesbians or homosexuals,” Ouyang said on Thursday.
A “different gospel” marketed as the “same gospel”.

Of course it is rediculous that a “christian church” would promote sodomites. The world has been attempting to replace, blot out, and, use chritianity as a tool for its own gain, since Christ walked the earth. Having “homo” christians is just another example of many, of people perverting the word of God, either to destroy it or to use Christ for their own personal glory. Either way this type of behavior is blaphemous. The only true direction for Christians comes from the Bible. All else is preference or pervertion of God’s word, or both.
Most churches haved strayed from christianity, this is just a blatant example. They are attemting to please the people, just as Aaron appeasedthe people by creating a Golden calf. The bible is not to keep pace and be re-written with societal trends and condition, it is the measurement of what is right and wrong and what should be. Sodomites are an abomination unto the Lord. But always welcome to church to be saved.
I agree with John. I’ve been “in” God’s word since a teenager, (I’m now 57) and found that God reveals many things through a parallel -ism. ie: Joshua leading the Israelites into the promised land and Jashua (Jesus) leading us into the new promised land, Heaven. Could He also be warning us about the perils of accepting the ever increasing homosexual lifestyles today as to what happened to Sodom and surrounding towns? If and when the whole world is forced to accept this lifestyle, I personnaly believe that God’s hammer of judgement will fall. What more of a slap in God’s face than to not “Go forth and re-plenish the earth” as He instructed Noah and his family to do.
We need to be sensitive to all sinners, but inform them we will not be forced into thinking that it is OK or just an alternative life style. God’s word is plain…homosexuality is wrong! Worshiping anything or anybody else brings fatal destruction.
True, the Bible does not condone homosexual practices, however, the Bible also does not condone lying, cheating, gossiping, stealing, being inhospitable, refusing to tithe, sex outside of marriage - homosexual or heterosexual, on and on. We have to acknowledge as a Christian community that people who struggle with these other sins are openly embraced in our churches, as they should be, and encouraged to grow in Christ, as they should be, while homosexuals are routinely condemned and outcast. How are we to reach these people when our behavior is a large cause of their often lack of belief in a merciful and loving God?
While it is certainly not okay to preach that it’s God’s will for any one of us to behave homosexually, it is certainly not okay for us to turn our backs on these people who need a Savior just like we do! I think it’s convenient for people to point a finger at someone else’s struggle because it happens to be out in the open and obvious instead of dealing with the less obvious issues in our own hearts. (issues like jealousy, covetousness, greed, unforgiveness…) After all, Jesus did not turn away anyone with an obvious sin. Rather, he embraced them, healed them and encouraged them to sin no more. Can we embrace our brothers and sisters who struggle with homosexual desires and behaviors, give God the time to help them heal the hurts in their hearts that have lead them down this path and encourage them in the walk of faith?
Judge not that you be not judged.
In Christ,
Lindsay
Those common issues that we deal with in our heart such as jealousy, envy, covetousness, lying and so on are dealt with by the help and power of the Holy spirit. We get more of this help when we are repentant, giving him the opportunity to pour his grace on us. But when a person goes into Homosexual behaviour and is open about it! This is simple an indication that grace has fled from that person. In other word, the person has reached the tragic stage of spiritual abandonment and is no longer under restraint of the Holy Spirit, the government of Malaysia will have to do it.
The last blogger need to do some extra Bible study, especially in the first few chapters of Romans in order to realise the Holiness of God and that his wrath on sin is final.
