Can’t Just Say: Assaulted

No… it has to be a hate crime. Of course the creeps that hit man are idiots. Yet it was asault and so it should be charged. But now it will be a hate crime. So a church says homosexuality is a sin then it will be a hate crime because they will be accused of spuring on idiots who like to beat people up. The two are not related and I fear that the thought police will love the new powers afforded the state.

(CBS) CHICAGO A man said early Friday he was attacked and beaten in an anti-gay hate crime in the Rogers Park neighborhood near Loyola University.

The 22-year-old victim was approached by three men he did not know around 2 a.m. in the 6700 block of North Sheridan Road, police said. An exchange of words followed, and the men called the victim an anti-gay derogatory term, police said.

Afterward, one of the men punched the victim in the face, and they fled.
