Jihad will not disarm but will expand their war on terror. At least this is the latest vow Bin Laden has issued. Is anyone really surprised at this? I didn’t think so. However the threat mirrors the one made toward Israel by the Iranian leader. Hmmmm. Does that mean Iran and Bin Laden are in bed together for the war on terror?
[Haaretz] CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - Osama bin Laden made an unusually sharp threat of attacks against Israel, vowing to expand al-Qaida’s jihad, or holy war, to liberate Jerusalem and Palestine in a new audiotape released yesterday.
Most of the 56-minute tape dealt with Iraq, reflecting al-Qaida’s eagerness to unify insurgents there behind it at a time when the U.S. military claims to have al-Qaida’s Iraq branch on the run.
Bin Laden promised to widen al-Qaida’s fight to include Israel, stepping up al-Qaida’s attempts to use the Israeli-Arab conflict to rally supporters.
“I would like to assure our people in Palestine that we will expand our jihad there,” Bin Laden said.
“We intend to liberate Palestine, the whole of Palestine from the (Jordan) river to the sea,” he said, threatening blood for blood, destruction for destruction.
Bin Laden and other al-Qaida leaders frequently vow to liberate Jerusalem and Palestine in their messages. But the latest comments were a more direct language than Bin Laden usually uses. Israel has warned of growing al-Qaida activity in Palestinian territory, but the terror network is not believed to have taken a strong direct role there so far.

the morons in this country refuse to be realistic about the enemy the WHOLE world faces in this guy and others like him.
As you know, once we are rid of him there is a generation of Bin-Ladens to step up and take his place.
As for your question - Is Iran in bed with Al-Qaeda? I would say yes and no. Imachickenhead in Iran is an Arab and Shiite. Bin Laden / Al-Qaeda are Sunni dominated.
Even though there are religious squabbles between the Sunni & Shiite terror groups as to who are real muslims they all have a common hatered of the U.S., Israel and any group of people that do not adhere to their beliefs. So I do believe there is a link with the groups made from a common hate/enemy.
That being said, if everybody they hated were gone -I think they would blow each other up at the drop of a hat. This is the part of the equation many in our country cannot comprehend.
It shoud be pointed out that Al-Qaeda and Iran has many of the same terrorist friends & groups.
Side note; I believe Iranians should/could actually be considered or came from Persian decent. Though it has now become mostly Shiite.
With Bhutto’s death, I give it 6 months at best before we are able to verify, not assume or speculate, that one or more terror groups are in possession of nuclear material and/or have dirty bomb capabilities.
