Just the publicity the Dem Mayor wants and he says people are starting to carry weapons to defend themselves. What a brilliant statement to make on the national stage. Does he mean:
1. People are arming themselves to defend against the police?
2. People are arming themselves in case another raid happens?
3. […]

Carnival #102

January 30, 2008 | Leave a Comment

This week’s Carnival is dedicated to the 102nd Session of Congress, which served from January 3, 1991 through January 3, 1993. The biggest piece of legislation passed during this time was the 1991 Civil Rights Act. Tom Foley, who would lose his race 1994, was the Speaker. George Mitchell was the Senate Majority Leader; Bob […]

What will happen if Mike Huckabee manages to move into the #1 spot in total delegates from his current #2 spot. Sure there is Florida but the real day is next Tuesday. If Huckabee is able to do that then there will still be an advocate of real tax reform. If not […]

It’s the religion of peace. Yet if we lose the war against jihadists you will be able to count the number of problems by, well, the number of heads that will role. Just because the jihad nuts have totally lost their minds you will find they want to make you lose yours. Sleep well tonight […]

McCain has three pieces of legislation that mark him forever as unreliable for core conservative principles on the national stage. Romney has been accused by McCain as really being liberal and he is speaking the truth. The only way to prevent that is to have Huckabee maintain his lead over McCain.
If McCain wins this in […]

Another professor with some questionable ties. Hmmmm…. from Columbia. Isn’t that the place the peace loving Iranian President spoke? Just wondering.
Police stumbled upon a bomb-making factory Sunday in the home of a Columbia professor who specializes in the spread of infectious disease - and are investigating whether he and his roommate […]

“The IRS accepts Visa and Mastercard.”
That was perhaps the best line of the night. Even funnier was watching the Tax Em More Dems sit on their hands. I say if they are willing… let them voluntarily tax themselves. On the other hand I want my money back so I can spend it how I best […]

This information came to me via email and is from someone active in Richland County politics. The current candidate to run against Congressman Jordan isn’t apparently much of a threat and leaves one wondering if another will replace him closer to the race.
Anyhow, he [Mike Carroll] had no known previous political activity in this county. […]

Another fine catch from the MSM over at Church Marketing Sucks. It appears that they find the billboard eyesores begin with the Jesus billboard.
This is fun: A Minnesota newspaper does a story about the city cracking down on “eyesores” and the accompanying front-page photo features a billboard for a local church with “Jesus” in giant […]

Things are ramping up on the border and things are escalating.
The U.S. Border Patrol agent killed Saturday morning in Arizona was identified by authorities yesterday as Luis Aguilar, 32.
Aguilar was intentionally struck by a Hummer fleeing law enforcement officers in the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma, about 170 miles east of San Diego, officials said.

They are going after the best conservative Congressman we have had in… well a very long time. Now the Dems want to remove the representation we enjoy in Congress.
MANSFIELD — First term incumbent Congressman Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, will face opposition from a Mansfield Democrat in November 2008.
Mike Carroll, 110 Cliffbrook Drive, a steelworker associated […]

It appears that a recent bomb threat happened Tuesday afternoon at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. Stay tuned for more if anything comes of it.

It is time that the issues come to a head. Not the usual talking points we here debated and reported on in the Main Stream Media. We are talking about the issue of our Nation’s identity. Who are we and what are the Nation’s values that bind us together; Can we recognize that […]

Incursions have been caught on tape several times including reports that local Sheriff deputies have been outgunned. Prior to this and we have posted a few times about this topic on the border including incursions. News 5 out of Weslaco, TX has obtained through the Freedom of Information Act that shows there have […]

This is a tad late in posting. I received this about the campaign for Huckabee and agreed to post it. Of course we would! Huckabee has done well and we hope he gets the nomination.
We are contacting you along with several other Mike Huckabee bloggers to let you know about the Huckabee Momentum fundraiser. Visit […]

There will be no easy end to this for Lima. Tensions are high but so far calms has held its course despite several local ministers looking to stir up the fires of people’s passions. Not as if they weren’t already stirred. Little details have really come out so far and won’t until the investigation is […]

The Republican Central Committee in Allen County appointed Ben Diepenbrock who is currently the County Auditor. He replaces Bob Holmes who retired just recently. Bob Holmes is widely known as the former Republican Chairman prior to Keith Cheney.

[Lima News] “The decision was based on numerous things, one of which was the fiscal responsibility of the […]

It is a tragic loss for the family. Yet the resulting logic he wrote in an article is one reason American’s no longer reason through the argument and the reality. The family lost their son at Virginia Tech where he taught. Instead of seeing the event as a reason gun free zones are really “free […]

Carnival number 99…

So many ideas swarmed through my head for 99, from 99 Luft Balons to 99 Bottles of Beer on the wall, then I finally settled on […]

[Picture: Toledo Blade] Lots of news coming out and tensions could rise even though the city will pay for the daughter’s burial. Here are some brief snippets in the news.
