Things are ramping up on the border and things are escalating.

The U.S. Border Patrol agent killed Saturday morning in Arizona was identified by authorities yesterday as Luis Aguilar, 32.

Aguilar was intentionally struck by a Hummer fleeing law enforcement officers in the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma, about 170 miles east of San Diego, officials said.

Authorities said Aguilar was hit about 9:30 a.m. as he was putting down spike strips near Gray’s Well Road, about a mile from the U.S.-Mexico border. Agents were trying to stop a brown Hummer and a red Ford F-250 pickup that crossed from Mexico into the United States. Both vehicles fled back into Mexico, said Jeremy Schappelle, a supervising Border Patrol agent.

Four Mexican Police were arrested just south of the border.

MEXICO CITY — Federal agents arrested four police officers just south of the border with Texas on Saturday and were investigating where they got their guns, Mexican police said.

In a joint operation, federal police and soldiers arrested the officers early Saturday morning in the city of Nuevo Laredo across the border from Laredo, Texas, said a spokesman for Mexico’s Public Safety Department who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter.

“The army has stepped in to investigate the origin of their weapons,” he said.

Mexican radio station Formato 21 said the officers had guns that weren’t registered with their unit in the border state of Tamaulipas.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the four officers were being investigated for corruption, which is widespread in Mexico, particularly in states like Tamaulipas plagued by organized crime.

The real kicker in the news was the absolutely idiotic statement of the decade on nation security. Tougher rules won’t do anything for national security. How will it help when the border continues to be a seive and illegals are working throughout the country on false documents already. Do people really believe this kind of stuff?

WASHINGTON — Americans will be safer next month after tougher document requirements are imposed at Canada-U.S. land-border crossings, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said yesterday.

As of Feb. 1, Canadians and returning Americans will need both an official document bearing a photograph, such as a driver’s licence, in addition to proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate, at all land crossings.

“It is going to contribute to making America safer,” Mr. Chertoff said in an interview yesterday. The terrorist threat is real, he said, and U.S. agents at Canadian land crossings “turn away a significant number of people at the border because they appear on watch lists.”

Oh yes, I already feel so much safer now. Don’t you?

Thank goodness. I’m very relieved to learn that criminals and terrorists continue to use border crossings to enter the U.S. rather than alternate methods.

Government is trying to rid the Border Patrols so it can become one nation with Mexico and Canada. It is the goal of the government to get rid of the border. Check out the new DVD that explains why congress is refusing to protect our borders even 6 years after the devastating impact of 9/11 movie is “Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement” available at netflix

When do you think the Feds will implement the Amero currency?
Do you think the Amero will be just as worthless as the current dollar? Do you think things will be far worse if they do bring in the Amero?

What things can we expect to see (economy, society, housing, food, energy, foreign relations ect..) when they do bring in the Amero?

If I were you I would start buying gold and silver coins which I am.
Because those coins will be worth more than the dollar and the Amero.
