Huckabee Is Ohio Governor’s Favorite
February 6, 2008 |
There is little doubt in my mind that Huckabee is the most conservative candidate on the campaign trail. With all the talk of being conervative McCain just isn’t telling us the truth. At least Rudy was straight forward on his positions. One can respect that. Seems everyone is on the Moderate/Liberal McCain bandwagon. So here was some information I found interesting. Thanks for the email HT from the Free Republic.

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, a Democrat who already has endorsed Hillary Rodham Clinton for president, said former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is his favorite among the Republican candidates.Huckabee, like Strickland, is an ordained minister.
“He’s a very socially compassionate man who obviously has concern for the poor and the working middle class, while at the same time, having rather conservative views when it comes to a matter like abortion or gay marriage,” Strickland said.
Strickland told The Cincinnati Enquirer that Huckabee would be the strongest Republican candidate in Ohio.

Of course Huckabee is Stricklands favorite, he governs the most like a Democrat
Well, I have my favorite Dem candidate also. That doesn’t mean they would run the country like a Republican. Certainly Huckabee is clearly superior than McCain on a number of issues. It’s a bit disingenuous and doesn’t reflect how he will govern. Besides, what candidate did you endorse of the last candidates?
I have followed Huckabee and he is the only one that stands up for the people.
If the people of Ohio would only reach out to Mike Huckabee
The people of Ohio can see that Huckabee could be an outstanding candidate.
The Repulican Party probably knew about the
McCain so call affair and that is why they were trying to get Huckabee out before it hit
I hope the people in Ohio study Mike Huckabee.

The media and the GOP have tried to hide this fine candidate from the beginning and many GOP members are so sick of this bias, they may not vote in the general election.
What the GOP and the media don’t tell people is once people hear what Huckabee has to say, people like him.
For example, only one week before the Wisconsin Primary, polls indicated that Huckabee had only 4% of the vote. After campaigning in Wisconsin, he ended up with 37% of the vote. That is a 33% gain in just one weeks time!
McCain on the other hand actually lost 5% of his voters.
Vote Huckabee
FAITH***FAMILY***FREEDOM
No Ben. It’s because Mike Huckabee is a good man and people that know him see that. They may not agree on all the issues but they see Mike Huckabee as someone that’s more concerned about Americans than he is about people voted most popular by the Republican party. Funny thing is, if you look at the facts, where the candidates have voted. You’ll see that Mike Huckabee is the most conservative on the issues, expectually the social and moral issues. Check the facts and go to http://www.mikehuckabee.com to see where he stands on the issues. Be informed.
Hey, show me another candidate that has a good plan as to how to decrease our national debt, at the same time lower our taxes by supporting the ‘Fair Tax’, show me someone with an actual plan as to how to secure the border. McCain’s only words on the matter are,”I’ve heard the american people, I was wrong in suggesting amnesty to illegal immigrants. We have to secure the border first.” What’s that mean? So, if he wins the nomination what can we expect? Probably more of the same. Just because a Democrat is smart enough to know a good man when he sees one doesn’t mean we should reject him…look at his record, look at what he did in AR. Go to http://www.mikehuckabee.com
I’m going on 82 and I don’t think a run for office is really in the cards, but;
TELL everyone you are going to vote for that if they don’t propose/support the “Line Item Veto” (whereby the President can scratch out (veto) improper inclusions in a budget!) Billions of dollars are being improperly spent by “ear marking” budget items in such as the defense budget, let’s say 397 million dollars to help the New York peanut farmers put out of business for some reason. Or, maybe you want a library built in West Virginia at some cross roads because a town may be built there some day.
OK, so I stretched it a little bit, but in the defense budjet there should be only items related to defending the country.
By the way, put in your demand that a 4/5th vote will be required to override a line item veto. Then watch what heppens to the nationl debt (unless a Hillbilly couple are elected president!)
