Orlando with have the issue on the ballot. They will simply ask should there be an amendment? Yes or No. This one could go either way. We will watch as the issue comes to a vote.

ORLANDO Same-sex marriage, a topic that elicits passionate debate, is also an issue that will be on Florida’s November ballot.

Amendment 2 asks voters: “Should the Constitution be amended to make gay marriage illegal?”

Florida A&M University Law School held a public debate on the issue Monday in front of a packed house.

Suetta Coella, who attended the debate, said she had a unique perspective on the issue, because she lived most of her life as a lesbian, but said God has since set her straight in both her sexuality and her views.

“Personally, I do not believe it should be sanctioned. I am totally against it,” Coella said.

Coella said God loves everyone, but does not condone same-sex marriages.
