I am going to cop out and not do a theme this week. I think I broke my hand punching my kitchen counter last night, so typing is painful. There were a ton of good posts this week across the blogosphere.

Biden’s Ties to Pro-Iran Groups Questioned

Sen. Barack Obama and his newly-picked running mate, Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, may have sparred during the primaries. But on one issue they are firmly united: the need to forge closer ties to the government of Iran.
Kaveh Mohseni, a spokesman for the Student Movement Coordination Committee for Democracy in Iran, calls Biden “a great friend of the mullahs.”
He notes that Biden’s election campaigns “have been financed by Islamic charities of the Iranian regime based in California and by the Silicon Iran network,” a loosely-knit group of wealthy Iranian-American businessmen and women seeking to end the U.S. trade embargo on Iran.
“In exchange, the senator does his best to aid the mullahs,” Mohseni argues.
Biden’s ties to pro-Tehran lobbying groups are no secret. But so far, the elite media has avoided even mentioning the subject.
No tags for this post.Something is strange and the stories don’t make much sense. Which of course means something isn’t being said to fill in the gaps. It appears four planned to kill Obama on the night of his speech Thursday. Of course it’s being said that there was no credible plan or real threat. However they had weapons, vests, radios. One article says there will be no charges. That is either nuts or a lie… or just insane. But the real story is the lack of wording, so far, in the articles I’ve seen. In such cases there would be “hate crime” charges. White racists planning to kill a Black man. Perhaps the easiest line is the Obama campaign doesn’t want to raise “fears” of his potential presidency.

DENVER: US authorities were last night investigating whether three men arrested in Colorado with guns and drugs planned to kill Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, but said they posed no real threat.
“Help. Don’t kill me, I’m too fat to die” is the new cry for mercy for a society that hates fat people. They are discriminated against. A Federal Judge gave a reprieve as a convicted killer of two Akron University Students is now hiding behind Fat. It appears they are fearful they will have a hard time finding the veins in those layers of fat produced at tax payer expense. Read the rest of this entry »

I suspect it reaches even further than that. Wait till every American big city is swamped by the Drug Cartel which controls most of Mexico and try to rest power from American gangs. No tags for this post.Will it really happen? Sounds impossible to believe. Especially after Hillary suggested anything can happen. With the selection of the VP candidate it appears some backroom talks have produced a resolution to the tension. I can’t imagine Hillary being excited unless of course she is put back in charge of a health care power position to help her be ready in 8 years. Then again Hillary may realize better to retain support for 4 years after Obama loses badly to McCain. Suppose we will find out down the road what she has in mind either way.

Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) to release her delegates next Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. That’s the day after her keynote address before the Democratic National Convention. That means delegates can do what they want during the Thursday roll call. Clinton herself will cast her superdelegate vote for Obama.
