Odd Stories On Obama’s Would Be Killers

Something is strange and the stories don’t make much sense. Which of course means something isn’t being said to fill in the gaps. It appears four planned to kill Obama on the night of his speech Thursday. Of course it’s being said that there was no credible plan or real threat. However they had weapons, vests, radios. One article says there will be no charges. That is either nuts or a lie… or just insane. But the real story is the lack of wording, so far, in the articles I’ve seen. In such cases there would be “hate crime” charges. White racists planning to kill a Black man. Perhaps the easiest line is the Obama campaign doesn’t want to raise “fears” of his potential presidency.
Assassination fear
DENVER: US authorities were last night investigating whether three men arrested in Colorado with guns and drugs planned to kill Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, but said they posed no real threat.
“We’re absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado,” US Attorney Troy Eid said.
ABC News quoted federal law enforcement officials saying the men, one of whom is alleged to have strong ties to a white supremacist gang, had admitted to a “crude” plan to use a rifle to kill Obama. The men had spoken of finding a high vantage point overlooking the football stadium in Denver where Obama is due to speak tomorrow night, and opening fire with rifles.

US officials today said a group of suspected drug users arrested in Denver over the weekend with guns and bullet-proof vests made racist threats against Barack Obama but posed no real danger to the Democratic presidential candidate.
Obama will be in Denver this week to accept the Democratic nomination. The three men - all said to have been high on methamphetamine when arrested - are the subject of an assassination investigation, but so far, authorities say, it appears they had no capacity to carry out any attack on Obama.
A Colorado federal prosecutor, Troy Eid, said the vague racist threats from the men would continue to be investigated. He said he did not know whether Obama had been briefed on the arrests or whether security plans would change for his acceptance speech on Thursday.
