Boltz’s Normal Gay Life

Turning the Mountain of God into Brokeback Mountain. Certainly a shocker. However, Ray has gone on to live what he considers a normal Gay Life. Normal for a Christian to leave his wife and children so he can sleep unashamedly with another man. Trying a come back in the Christian Music world is a departure from other unfaithful musicians who normally just did secular music. Boltz has brought it to a new level reaching out to the new market of Gay Christian Denominations.
Who would have thought it 30 years ago.
Tags: Christian, Libs Exposed, Same-SexWell, here’s a shocker of a story: in an interview with the gay publication Washington Blade, CCM veteran Ray Boltz has come out of the closet and admitted that he’s gay.
The story, published last Friday, relates Boltz’s Christian music career, his struggle with gay feelings, and his eventual confession to his family in December 2004.
It’s actually a really well-done story and definitely worth reading.
But WOW, it’s a total shocker.
For more than 20 years, Boltz has been a staple of the CCM industry, earning several certified gold albums, three Dove Awards and a string of 12 No. 1 hits. He’s probably best known for the songs, “Thank You,” “Watch the Lamb,” “The Anchor Holds” and “I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb.”
He was married for 33 years, raised four kids, and was by all accounts a typical Christian music artist.
But in 2004, he dropped a bombshell on his family when he admitted that he was gay. He’d been struggling for years with his feelings, to the point of clinical depression and thoughts of suicide.
Boltz tells the Washington Blade, “I’d denied it ever since I was a kid. I became a Christian, I thought that was the way to deal with this and I prayed hard and tried for 30-some years and then at the end, I was just going, ‘I’m still gay. I know I am.’ And I just got to the place where I couldn’t take it anymore … when I was going through all this darkness, I thought, ‘Just end this.’”
He and his wife divorced - and maintain a good relationship - and Boltz has the love and support of his children. He’s moved to Florida to start his life over, and tells the publication that he’s dating and leading a “normal gay life.”

Matthews Deceives TV Audience

HT Bizzy Blog on catching a liberal MSM personality not giving honest disclosure. His interview with a student member of “Concerned Youth of America” appears to be picked at random. In fact it was his daughter. Something that should have been disclosed.
Tags: Libs ExposedThe news comes from Media Bistro’s DC Fishbowl, with a twist that the post overlooked:
On Friday’s “Hardball,” Chris Matthews interviewed a number of student members of the group Concerned Youth of America.
One of those students — Caroline — is his daughter, a student at the University of Pennsylvania. Did Matthews disclose that fact as he interviewed her?
Not so much.
One tipster tells FishbowlDC that “Matthews, at the asking of his daughter, instructed the producers not to name her.”
Video is at the link.
Here is what Matthews asked his daughter, and how she answered (bolds are mine):
(at the 0:35 mark)
Chris Matthews: And what happens after the bailout. (The national debt is) $11 trillion, right?
Caroline Matthews: If you keep on spending like this, our generation, in like 20 to 30 years, the debt will get to like 53 trillion dollars.
(at the 1:00 mark)
Chris Matthews: How come politicians don’t talk about this?
Caroline Mathews (away from camera, causing Chris Matthews and cameraman to hastily move to her): Because people aren’t - because it’s not an attractive issue. People want to say - Politicians worry about being voted for, and you know, the people want taxes to be cut, and they want entitlement programs. And that’s how a politician gets elected. They’re not going to get elected by saying we’re going to have to make sacrifices, which is what we’re going to have to do.
The Cause of the Financial Failures - Must See

No one will want to talk about it. But we should see the failed policies of the Libs are the cause for our problems. Can we really afford more of this? I don’t think so. It’s long but will change the way you vote.

What a real brainstorm by an Ohio farmer. He lives in Whitehouse and has come up with a corn maze in the design of Sarah Palin’s head. Palin’s popularity in Ohio has taken a new turn and we hope most readers won’t find this too corny.

A 16-acre corn maze near the town of Whitehouse has been carved in Palin s likeness complete with her familiar updo hairstyle and eyeglasses. Farmer Duke Wheeler says that Palin created a lot of excitement in the campaign and that he was hoping to generate some for this year s maze. “We contracted with an artist in Idaho who drew the picture entered it into a GPS system and flew in and cut it with a John Deere tractor and a roster ” Wheeler explained. “It took him like eight hours to cut it and we saw it today from the helicopter and it s just a great image of her. I d think she d be proud.” Wheeler said he is expecting “thousands” of people to visit his complex to see the Palin cutout.

Husted Pushes Vouchers For Special Needs

Sarah Palin would be in complete support. Ohio Governor is totally against. Against choice and opportunity. Husted is pushing for vouchuses so parents can make their own choices about their child. Apparently “choice” only applies to liberals when it comes to killing the child, not getting educational choice.
Tags: Conservative, Ohio, Sarah PalinThe issue remains a point of contention between Husted and Gov. Ted Strickland, who last year vetoed a proposed special needs voucher program out of the two-year budget. The plan would have offered vouchers of up to $20,000 to students in grades K-12 who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
“Parents should have a choice in selecting the best educational environment for their child,” said Husted, R-Kettering. “Too many children, often those with special needs, get trapped in schools that cannot provide the specialized services they need.”
Husted and Bacon visited teachers and administrators at Oakstone Academy, a North Side school for children with autism spectrum disorders.
“Children with special needs across the state of Ohio should have every opportunity to learn in an environment that understands and addresses their needs,” said Bacon, R-Minerva Park. He has a daughter with a disorder on the autism spectrum.
The voucher program is currently pending as Senate Bill 57.
