U.S. Diplomat Robert Balu was met with his room filled with excrement. Reports from Cuba News say that the punishment came from the foreign minister of Cuba. Castro, using Mafia techniques, is retaliating for the American delegation allowing Cuban democrats to have access to the internet for half an hour each week.
The tip off to these events was an article in the Brussels Journal reporting that Norway says no to a free Cuba. Apparently they want to ban Cuban democrats from attending Norway’s national holiday festivities. Cuban officials will not attend events at embassies if opposition parties attend. So the word on the street is to “go along to get along”. They want peace with the thugs while distancing themselves from those who oppose Castro.
Those who don’t go along certainly have faced difficult times and can look forward to similar treatment in the future, with no support from Norway. In almost 50 years of government, Castro has not managed to provide Cubans with even half of their needs for electricity, telephone, potable water, clothing, transportation, food or housing.
These type of relationships are the ones that would run the U.N. unless some leaders will be willing to stand up to tyrants you will see increasing threats toward opposition.
