Welcome to the New United States of Mexico

by Conservative Culture on March 25, 2006

What is the future of America? The illegals are so well protected that even the laws of the United States will become unenforceable by even the most ardent defenders of America. It is a drain on the resources on one hand and a vital part of the unseen economic structure of business that requires hard labor Americans don’t want. One lady blogs her anger this way.

They illegally invade our sovereign nation. They bring disease, crime, refuse to assimilate, expect us to take on their culture and language, and abuse our systems, using up millions of dollars, hospital services, and schools. We owe them nothing but a kick back over the border. This is not about “immigrants’” rights. An immigrant is someone who has LEGALLY entered and moved to this country. They have plenty of rights and, once they become US Citizens, LEGALLY, will have every right I have.

Another blog things the MSM has the wrong headlines and proposes another.

Again our brethren in the media get it wrong. This headline is most misleading, please allow me… Thousands Of Criminals Attempt To Extort Citizenship!

The crowd size, estimated between 100,000 to nearly 500,000 descended upon L.A. The Democratic Daily Blog talks about some of the proposals on the table. It amazes me to see the number of Mexican flags for something that some try to sell as a pro-American immigration movement.

California Conservative comes in with the dirt on what the fuss is all about.

So what all the fuss about? H.R.4437 Title: To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to strengthen enforcement of the immigration laws, to enhance border security, and for other purposes.

Michelle Malkin also finds some good information on the issue and debates the question about being a ‘nation of immigrants.’ Good reading and worth your time. Here are some quotes from some of our founders on the issues.

?∑ George Washington, in a letter to John Adams, stated that immigrants should be absorbed into American life so that “by an intermixture with our people, they, or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, measures, laws: in a word soon become one people.”

?∑ In a 1790 speech to Congress on the naturalization of immigrants, James Madison stated that America should welcome the immigrant who could assimilate, but exclude the immigrant who could not readily “incorporate himself into our society.”

?∑ Alexander Hamilton wrote in 1802: ???The safety of a republic depends essentially on the energy of a common national sentiment; on a uniformity of principles and habits; on the exemption of the citizens from foreign bias, and prejudice; and on that love of country which will almost invariably be found to be closely connected with birth, education, and family.???

America must recapture the idea that it is the melting pot of the world. Cultures and peoples become a part of American culture and values. Perhaps the easiest solution would be to annex Mexico before we become annexed by Mexico and become the United States of Mexico.
