From Texas Fred comes the demand for true diversity. Tired of the typical stereotypical treatment of the white and straight male? Time to get the recognition we all deserve.
Well, since the Philadelphia (city of Brotherly Love) schools have declared October “Gay and Lesbian History Month, I demand that November be “White Straight Male Month.” After all, it’s about diversity.
There is no logical reason they should refuse this request. I’m not trying to promote special rights for white straight males, I’m just trying to gain equal rights. If there’s going to be a Gay month, then there should be a straight month, otherwise they’re trying to repress straight white males.
Perhaps we could get some t-shirts with “I’m straight and proud of it” or perhaps our own flag. I thought perhaps a white flag (as opposed to the rainbow) because it represents purity but it sounds too much like surrender. I’ll get working on it by the time we get the recognition we truly deserve.
