What If? – Bible banned from flight to US

by Conservative Culture on December 25, 2006

Consider this story from Right Truth and then read on.

Bibles not allowed, but bring on the Koran. If the United States tried to ban Muslims from bringing their Korans with them to the United States, CAIR would fall all over themselves filing lawsuits. This time Christians are fighting back with a new organization CARE, Council Against Religious Exclusion. CARE, not CAIR. I like it!!!

According to a December 20, 2006 article in The Telegraph, the stewardess, who has not been named, claims that she has been subject to discrimination because of her faith. She is understood to have deep religious convictions and carries a Bible with her at all times. Nonetheless, a spokesman for bmi, the only airline to fly to Saudi Arabia after British Airways cancelled its service to that country, said the airline was merely complying with Saudi law that bans the importation and use of narcotics, alcohol, pork products and religious books, except the Qu’ran. According to a Saudi spokesman, Saudi authorities would automatically confiscate a Bible from anybody trying to bring one into the country and it would not be returned.

There are two ways to consider this situation.

1. What if the Koran was banned from flights to the US

2. What if, considering the growing Muslim influence, that Bible became banned from flgihts to the US.

Number one will never happen. But one wonders if number two could some day become considers enough of a danger to the Muslim communities that they would ban it. This thought comes in light of the recent clamor over the election of Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, D-Minn. who has chosen to use the Koran in a ceremonial swearing in.

These anti-Muslim, anti-tolerant messages are downright silly. To expect a Muslim to want to engage in a swearing-in ceremony with a Bible taking center stage is as rational as expecting a Christian to prefer placing a hand on the Quran. Certainly, the Bible has always been used until now. But until now, we hadn’t had a Muslim in Congress. Why is that so hard for some to understand?

This really shouldn’t be much of an issue on its own merits. However, it does raise to the forefront other concerns which are mounting in the wake of the jihad against the US.

Some compare the ‘evangelism’ of the Muslims to be similar to Christians. However, the basis of the Judeo Christian faith has created a government that is to be limited in scope and power. It also limits the ability of the government to establish a specific religion (original intent: to thwart any one ‘church’ from being established as the state church… ie… Lutheran, Catholic or Anglican etc.). It allows for the freedom of each to worship according to their conscience.

What has been the experience we see when a Muslim majority is able to assume control in governments? The story of Bibles being banned is not new. Remember what the mission of the Muslim religion is. Some material from the Islamic Center of America out of Detroit. This is the largest concentration of Muslims in America.

The purpose for which the Islamic Center of America was formed is to receive, administer and distribute funds to; preserve and teach the religion of Islam; perpetuate the social, moral, and religious standards of Muslims in the United States; teach the Arabic language; educate the American society about Islam and the Arab culture and to promote a positive relationship with the religious Marj’aiyah that follows the Ja’afari School of Ahlul Bayt.

A Shiite Muslim their leader has ties back to Lebanon. Woman Honor Thy Self finds questionable ties which might be explained away but raise questions. Like any church one can be identified often by the company it keeps.

For starters, Imam Qazwini’s Islamic Center once invited Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to be the keynote speaker at a memorial for its deceased founder Imam Mohamad Jawad Chirri. At the time, Arab American News described his address as “dynamic” and “always controversial,” and reported that he urged the Muzlim community “to become politically active…[and] as powerful as the Zionists.”

Translated as : Fear not. We still hate Jews.

For those who do not recall, Louis Farrakhan is the man who once called Judaism a “gutter religion” and who has been banned – for security reasons — from entering the United Kingdom since 1986. London’s left wing journal The Observer has a profile of Louis Farrakhan that points out his “reliance on anti-semitic imagery.” A few examples: “Jews are ‘bloodsuckers’”; “Hitler ‘was a great man.’” It also notes that “he talks of ’settling the score’ with white people” and boasts proudly “that black street gangs are ‘born warriors of true liberation.’”

Translated as : Fear not. We still hate Jews and White People.

Even more interesting is the comment she makes about his ties to the American Muslim Council.

Imam Qazwini has other troublesome connections to radicals in the United States. He is a board member of the American Muzlim Council and shares this position with some notable terror apologists.

A little research turned this up about the groups founder.

But the one-time high-flyer last week signed a plea agreement with the American government admitting his multiple crimes in return for a reduced sentence. His confession makes for startling reading.

Alamoudi acknowledges having obtained money from the Libyan government and other foreign sources, “unlawfully, knowingly, and willfully falsified, concealed and covered up by a trick, scheme and device.” He transmitted these funds to the United States, “outside of the knowledge of the United States government and without attracting the attention of law enforcement and regulatory authorities.”

In doing so, he engaged in illegal financial transactions and filed false tax returns. He lied about his overseas travels, his interest in a Swiss bank account, his affiliation with a Specially Designated Terrorist (the Hamas leader, Mousa Abu Marzook), and his membership in terrorist-related organizations.

Of particular note are admissions by Alamoudi that he:

  • Was summoned by Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi to two meetings and as a result of these Alamoudi helped organize the assassination of Saudi crown prince Abdullah. (The plot was foiled.)
  • Transported money from Libya to Saudi Arabia to the United States, where he deposited it in the American Muslim Foundation, one of his non-profits.
  • Omitted on his American citizenship application his connections to many radical organizations: the United Association for Studies and Research, Marzook Legal Fund, Mercy International, American Task Force for Bosnia, Fiqh Council of North America, Muslims for a Better America, Eritrean Liberation Front/People’s Liberation Force, and Council for the National Interest Foundation.

Then there is the fact that Alamoudi’s Palm Pilot, seized at the time of his arrest, contained contact information for seven men designated as global terrorists by U.S. authorities. Also, law enforcement found an unsigned Arabic-language document in Alamoudi’s office with ideas for Hamas to undertake “operations against the Israelis to delay the peace process.” And Alamoudi has at least indirect links to Osama bin Laden through the Taibah International Aid Association, an American non-profit where he served along with Abdullah A. bin Laden, Osama’s nephew.

There seems to be a tale of two faces. One which is presented for the cameras and one for their own purposes. The company one keeps close is very telling and raises serious questions. Questions that need to be asked. If not and their power continues to grow it could be possible that what happens in other Muslim countries could happen here… Doubt it? Think again. Not unless they act in opposition and denounce what goes on in other Muslim coutries as an act against God will their words be worth more than the paper they are written on.

I think we, Americans, should be very concerned. Ellison will be sworn in along with others as a group, and they do not use a Bible or Koran in that swearing in ceremony. However, in the photo op for family and friends afterwards, they do use the Bible. This is where Ellison will use the Koran. No I don’t expect him to use the Bible. I just want to make sure that his loyalties are to the United States of America’s constitution first and the Koran and it’s teachings second.

It appears to me that when Muslims are given a choice between anything or Islam’s teachings, they will choose Islam every time. That doesn’t bode well for Muslim politicians in the United States or any Western country. It’s something we need to be aware of.

The Islamic centers in the United States are nothing but meeting and recruiting places for terrorists, terrorist funding, etc. With the flying imams recently, one Muslim Islamic center official spoke out against what they were doing to the airlines and airline security. He was reprimanded and I believe kicked out of the mosque/Islamic center. This shows why more moderate Muslims (if they really exist in any large numbers) seldom speak out.

Thanks for the link and mention.

Merry Christmas.

I have no doubt that some time very soon, Bibles will be banned in the USA. The US is a part of the UN. It is my understanding that they just adopted the Alliance of Civilations (AOC). This is scary stuff.

CARE. I like that. It’s kind of like the ACLJ fighting the ACLU. Thanks for the trackback. Nice to meet you.
