She was visiting her boyfriend. She was forced to have sex with two Mexican officers. They deny it and the judge found no evidence that the victim was telling the truth.
In America a Mexican drug dealer’s word is taken over that of the Border Agents (Ramos and Compean). Isn’t that a hoot.
[Dallas News] Two police officers in this Mexican border city have been acquitted of charges of raping a 22-year old San Antonio woman in their patrol car.
The judge in the case, Beatriz Mendoza Campuzano, ruled on Thursday that there was no evidence to prove the officers forced the victim to have sex.
Prosecutor Santos Vazquez Estrada said he planned to appeal the acquittal.
Jonas Santiago and Alfonso Ramirez have been fired from the Piedras Negras police force and will not be reinstated, said Juan Botello Najera, the top public safety official in Piedras Negras.
The woman said she had been in Mexico visiting her boyfriend, who is from Piedras Negras. She said they had an argument, and she was walking alone on the street on Feb. 2 when the officers offered her a ride to the house she was staying. Instead, she said the two officers drove her in their patrol car to a remote spot outside the city and raped her.
The officers denied that they had raped the woman.
Piedras Negras is a border city across the Rio Grande from Eagle Pass, Texas.
