Another demand that may fall on deaf ears. We have stood with the President on many issues. Not on this one. There has been little justice in this nation…. but this has been an outrage from the beginning.

The pressure on President Bush to take action regarding former Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean continues. Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL) on Monday issued a statement demanding “an immediate release of Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean who are currently serving decade-long prison sentences for shooting an illegal alien drug dealer they thought was armed.” Rep. Feeney also demands an investigation of prosecutorial abuse.
The complete press release is found below and shows that there are some members of Congress who are willing to step up for these agents and for border security. The Border Patrol agents are on our side. Illegal alien drug smugglers are not.
