Radical Islam for whatever motive is trying to tear apart western culture and replace it with their own corrupt version of Islam. In a world where they see no one innocent (except themselves) they travel the globe creating illusions about themselves so that they one day can blow themselves (and as many others as they can).
Compare this to most people’s desire to simply live their lives trying to be productive and create a safe environment for their children to grow up. While there are corrupt people in every society usually the greed part of western culture requires people to remain alive to purchase merchandise. Islam on the other hand doesn’t need you at all.
Expect tightened security at airports and a growing sense that passengers are the final line of protection because in the end they want to go home to their family and jobs. Good for the passengers. However, it might have been better to make sure he didn’t make it to court… like drop all terrorists on the plane immediately as a security precaution.
The man, a student from Nigeria, tried to ignite a device as the Northwest Airlines flight prepared to land in Detroit. Police identified the suspect as Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, 23. It is understood he is an engineering student at University College London.
