Will Ramos & Compean Be President Bush’s Disgrace?

There is little time left for President Bush to pardon Ramos and Compean. Will he pardon the agents? Will he commute their sentence. If he leaves the office without any word, comment or action it will be just another insult to the many conservatives who feel a great injustice was committed against two men who served to protect our border. Let’s hope something comes of this before President Elect Obama.

With a little over two months left in office, President Bush has the opportunity to right an incredible injustice. He has the constitutional power to pardon former Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. Unlike President Clinton in his last days in office, who used pardons as political pay-back, President Bush should step forward and grant freedom to these agents who were doing their job protecting America.

For those how haven’t followed this case, Agents Ramos and Compean shot an illegal alien as he was fleeing back to the Mexican border. The illegal alien, Osvaldo Aldrete Davila, was in the process of smuggling approximately a million dollars worth of marijuana into the U.S. What happened next has set the stage for President Bush to take action in his closing days as president.

Rather than being commended for protecting America’s borders, U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton decided to prosecute the agents. Sutton granted Davila immunity in exchange for testimony. Sutton said the agents “shot 15 times at an unarmed, fleeing man.” Sutton also claims that the agents “decided to lie about it, cover it up, destroy the evidence, pick up all the shell casings and throw them away where we couldn’t find them, destroy the crime scene and then file a false report.”

In a statement issued in January, 2007, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) said that it was “irresponsible” to punish Agents Ramos and Compean with jail time.

“The Border Patrol is America’s first line of defense against the constant and unrelenting efforts of drug and human smugglers to illegally enter the United States,” said Congressman Hunter. “Agents Compean and Ramos fulfilled their responsibilities as Border Patrol agents and rightfully pursued a suspected and fleeing drug smuggler. It is irresponsible to punish them with jail time.

“The security situation on our Southern land border requires a strong law enforcement presence. This conviction demoralizes our nation’s Border Patrol and sends a clear message that we are not serious about protecting our borders and enforcing our immigration laws.”

Hunter’s communications director, Joe Kasper, commented at the time that the facts of this case are “so nebulous” that the case represents a “severe injustice.”

“Agents Ramos and Compean felt threatened and acted appropriately to apprehend the individual. At most, an administrative punishment is required but certainly not 11- and 12-year federal prison sentences.”

As Ramos and Compean languish in prison, guess what happened to the illegal alien drug dealer… In November, 2007, Davila was arrested again for drug smuggling.

England’s Prime Minister Envisions New World Order?

On the heels of a new US President in January begs many questions and offers very little known quanitites. The timing of England’s Prime Minister talking about a New Global Society brings with it all sorts of pictures to mind. Is the world stage with the departure of President Bush bringing about a readiness to embrace a new Global Society?

These comments alongside the liberal judges views on the Constitution and world views should be well known to our readers.

Ginsburg said criticisms of relying too heavily on world opinion “should not lead us to abandon the effort to learn what we can from the experience and good thinking foreign sources may convey.”

“The notion that it is improper to look beyond the borders of the United States in grappling with hard questions has a certain kinship to the view that the U.S. Constitution is a document essentially frozen in time as of the date of its ratification,” Ginsburg added in remarks to the members of the 99 year-old American Society of International Law in Washington, D.C.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice introduced Justice Ginsburg at the event, describing Justice Ginsberg as “a great and good friend,” noting also that they also happened to be neighbors.

Ginsburg’s pronouncements fly in the face of fellow Justice Antonin Scalia’s recent dissent in a juvenile death penalty case where he said that “like-minded foreigners” should not be given a role in helping interpret the Constitution.

Many foreign nations have outlawed the practice of the death penalty and the practice of applying such a punishment to juveniles.

“Judges in the United States are free to consult all manner of commentary,” Ginsburg argued to her audience, citing examples when the logic of foreign courts had been applied to help untangle legal questions domestically, and of legislatures and courts abroad adopting U.S. law.

Such thinking isn’t critical thinking but what appears to be the steady attempt by some to undermine the understanding and application of the US Constitution and perhaps even the sovereignty of the U.S.

“While I see a world that is facing financial crisis and still diminished by conflict and injustice, I also see the chance to forge a new multilateralism that is both hard-headed and progressive,” Brown said.

“And I believe that in our international co-operation on finance, climate change, terrorism and ending conflict, there is evidence of this new multilateralism at work in the world – fairer, more stable and more prosperous because it is rooted in cooperation and justice.

“And if we learn from our experience of turning unity of purpose into unity of action, together we can seize this moment of profound change to create, for the first time, the age of the truly global society, one where progressive multilateralism, not narrow unilateralism, is the norm.”

The prime minister said the alliance between Britain and America, and more broadly between Europe and America, must provide leadership in the effort to build a stronger, secure and more equitable international order.

“Winston Churchill described the joint inheritance of Britain and America as not just a shared history but a shared belief in the great principles of freedom, and the rights of man – of what Barack Obama described in his election night speech as the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope,” Brown said.

Another U.S. Border Incursion By Mexican Troops

Mexican armed incursions have happened at least 42 times. Now is the first time we have had an official protest from the State Department to the Mexican Government. The cover story says its an honest mistake. However, the number seems to indicate otherwise. Sometimes a distraction for other illegal activities including drugs, human trafficking and other nefarious activities. Contrast the first report with the video of the next one.

(CNN) — Seven members of the Mexican military were found inside the United States on Friday, telling border agents they had become disoriented while on patrol and accidentally crossed into the country, the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol said.

The incident began about 8 a.m. Friday, when the Border Patrol’s Yuma, Arizona, sector was notified that a military-style Hummer was broken down, Customs and Border Patrol said in a written statement.

Agents said they found the vehicle about 200 yards from the Colorado River, and the seven individuals were dressed in military-style clothing. Customs and Border Patrol later determined that the troops’ entry was unauthorized.

U.S. agents told the Mexican troops they were inside the United States and “peaceably” took them into custody, the statement said. “At no time were any hostilities exchanged between the agents and military officials.” Video Watch how Mexican troops found their way in the United States »

The Hummer was equipped with a turret-mounted machine gun, the Border Patrol said.

According to Customs and Border Patrol, the soldiers were assigned to the 23rd Regiment Motorized Cavalry of the Mexican Army. The soldiers said they believed that they were still in Mexico because they remained on the south side of a newly constructed border fence.

“The soldiers, weapons and vehicle were placed in Border Patrol custody and transported to the CBP San Luis, Arizona, Port of Entry, where each of the subjects was processed in accordance with Border Patrol policy,” the statement said. None of the seven had any criminal or immigration history, the agency said.

The soldiers, weapons and vehicle were repatriated and “remanded into the custody of their commanding officer,” the Border Patrol said. The incident remains under investigation, however, and the Border Patrol’s Office of Internal Affairs was notified, the statement said.

“This is not an uncommon occurrence,” Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colorado, told CNN. “Often times, it is the result of the Mexican military providing cover essentially for drug transportation across into our country, and/or creating a diversion so it will draw our people away from the place where the drugs are coming across.”

In August, the Border Patrol said Mexican troops had crossed the border illegally 42 times since October 2007.

Mexican Terror Deaths 4X Higher Than Iraq!

Ohio and the rest of the “swing states” had better wake up. It’s a fact no one is really talking about. While we fought tooth and nail to engage Islamic Terror in Iraq the Dems didn’t want to engage. It’s rather strange now that they talk tough about Afghanistan and the need for more troops there. Why do I call it strange? Because right now there are 4 times more deaths in Mexico than all of Iraq.

In a previous post we noted that Obama wants to cut the military budget with the likes of Barney Frank. However, we know that Hezbollah is already working with the drug cartel and may already have dirty bombs in the USA awaiting further instructions (we already know how porous the border is). While the politicians divert the issue to an issue of racism no one seems to be talking about it from a National Security Issue!

In Mexico the terror related death toll continues to rise and isn’t “over there somewhere” but right next to us. While we debate what to do and waiting for the Obama New Deal we may as a nation get the Obama Raw Deal. Folks the Republic is under seige from abroad and by the socialist agenda here. It’s time for all those who support the Republic of the United States to get the vote out. Then we need to force the security issue on the southern border. If we don’t get a strong President who understands this… Bidden will be right. Let’s hope we can keep his prediction from coming true.

Mexican drug cartels, Hezbollah (Party of God) and other Islamic terrorist groups are joining forces in Mexico. Hezbollah is synonymous with terror, suicide bombings, kidnappings and beheadings. No wonder the criminal organizations in Mexico seem to have adopted many Middle Eastern terrorist tactics with kidnappings and beheadings happening throughout Mexico.

According to authorities global Islamic terrorist have moved into Mexico and other Latin American countries to open the door for Mexican cartels to have excess to Afghanistan cocaine at bargain basement prices, those profits from those sales are being passed on to Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations worldwide to attack the states from within.

Hezbollah is known to be raising money for their cause in the U.S and some Americans say they have brought suite case dirty booms into the U.S. and are waiting for further instructions. Hezbollah is currently training Mexican drug cartel enforcement gang members. They are teaching them their gorilla terror tactic´s that they use in the Middle East. One high ranking Mexican Army officer who will at his request remain anonymous says Hezbollah is now believed to be training Mexican drug cartel enforcers the art of bomb making. It is now feared that there will soon be car and truck bombings of Mexican solders at the many road blocks that they have set up throughout Mexico, their barracks, police stations and even government buildings are at risk. The training is designed to combat the Mexican Army and police, American Special Forces and DEA agents now operating in Mexico.

According to Mexican officials Hezbollah is training the opposition to the Mexican Army and is starting to be seen throughout the country. There are new reports of late, of hit and run tactics against Mexican military set up road blocks where both attackers and Mexican solders have been killed….

Another significant issue is that now Mexico’s toll of deaths linked to organized crime has reached four thousand so far this year, a historic record. That is more violent related deaths than Iraq and Afghanistan combined.  Mexico is reported to be on track to near 5,000 before the end of 2008, another record. The last one thousand deaths have taken place in 48 days. The first one thousand deaths of the year took place in 114 days, the next one thousand in 72. But seventy days later, it reached 3 thousand.

Iran, Hezbollah’s longtime sponsor, and donations from the Lebanese Diaspora are two sources for a multimillion-dollar budget that pays for the militia’s armed and political wings and for social projects such as money, food and hospitals in Beirut. b, Africa Europe and elsewhere.

Slash The Military & Don’t Count Their Votes

Great plans are already in the works for the greatest cuts in military funding and strength ever. It appears that plans are in place to strip the military to bare bones, retreat to American soil and then take the money for more of the same old social programs. In addition to these there will be a need now for more taxes for universal healthcare and tax rebates to those who don’t pay taxes.

Israel will be left open and open talks will begin with Iran. It will be the dawn of a new age. Socialists and Communists are already excited about the new age dawning and their opportunity to help shape that new future. Get ready for the new USSA unless you stand up and prevent this agenda from getting into power. Spread the word and get everyone you know (who cares) out to vote.

One other thing is that the military vote was in question. Notice the dimbats wanted every fraudulent application to be accepted but when it comes to our men and women in the military they will find a technicality to discard their vote. Read more
