College Threatens Student To “Not Share His Faith”

Apparently free speech (when it comes to sharing your Christian faith) is limited to two hours a week according to the ADF report.
On Feb. 27, Yuba College student Ryan Dozier arrived on campus to attend class and briefly share a Christian message to fellow students, engaging them through tracts, a sign, and conversation. Dozier was approached by a campus police officer, who told him he needed a permit for such activity and that he would be arrested and face expulsion if he continued. The college allows “free speech” only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., with permission required two weeks in advance.
ADF is pursing legal challenges to have free speech again legalized on the college campus. It appears that colleges will tolerate many things but this.

taped mouthCalifornia student, Ryan Dozier, decided to spend some time on campus sharing his faith and handing out tracts to fellow students, generating conversations about Christianity. Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) attorney Heather Hacker comments on the situation.
“A campus police officer came over and told him that if he continued to do so without a permit that he would be possibly expelled or arrested, and so Ryan stopped immediately,” she explains.
Hacker says Dozier thought the case was closed, but he was apparently mistaken. “Three weeks later he got a certified letter from the president of the college stating that his actions were the subject of a campus crime report,” she adds. “Last time I checked, sharing your faith on a public college campus was not a crime.”
But the letter informed him he could face expulsion if he shared his faith on campus again. ADF filed suit, and a federal judge has ordered the college to suspend enforcement of its highly restricted free speech policies until the lawsuit is resolved.

Gay Supporters Attack Elderly Woman

Not even the news on Fox really understand the new tolerance. Of course the gay supporters cry for tolerance but are intolerant toward others. Josh McDowel put it this way nearly 20 years ago. The New Tolerance is Tolerance for the Tolerant and Intolerance for the Intolerant.
The New Tolerance doesn’t accept differences but rather requires not only acceptance but praise. Welcome to Sodom. Stomp that Cross. Of course the ending line by the news reporter says it all… there’s a lot of hate on both sides. That line is used to negate the ugly behavior of the gay activists. (Please don’t bother commenting on ugly behavior of others toward gay’s… we don’t endorse that either… stick to topic.)

When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”
“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”
9 “Get out of our way,” they replied. And they said, “This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. 11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
12 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, 13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”
14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry [a] his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.
Teacher’s Unions Propagating the New Order

Teacher Unions supporting a radical left wing agenda and incolcate the youth with a new definition of life, family and marriage. It has never been just about letting people be who they are. It’s been about changing everyone to accept what they are making America’s Republic into.
Do we need to remind the readers of the field trip the teachers took the young students to watch a lesbian wedding? Let alone Obama’s desire for sex education. I don’t want to imagine what that would include for K-6. Read more

It’s not personal. It’s not mean. Just don’t be so intolerant toward traditional marriage that you keep insisting on redefining it. Sodomy doesn’t need to redfine marriage to get satisfaction. There are legal social contracts available. However, for years the GLBT has had a seething hatred of anything Christian. They slander Christians by saying that believers hate them. But the real hatred lies with them. It will be interesting to see the reaction to this news item of Sarah’s support of a federal sodomy marriage ban.
Tags: Marriage Expansion, Religious FreedomSarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, says in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network airing today that she supports a federal constitutional ban against gay marriage - which Sen. John McCain, the GOP’s presidential nominee, does not support.
Palin, who had voted in 1998 for a state amendment banning same sex marriage, says: “I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that’s where we would go. I don’t support gay marriage,”
McCain, the senior senator from Arizona, is supporting a ballot initiative in his home state this fall banning gay marriage there. But McCain consistently has opposed a federal marriage amendment, contending that it would usurp the authority of the states on such questions.
If there could be a clearer measure of Palin’s appeal to the conservative base of the Republican Party, it would be hard to find. It is that appeal which McCain has counted on in his campaign for the presidency with Palin by his side.
Yet Palin is not cut and dried on the question of gay rights. As governor of Alaska, Palin vetoed a bill that would have denied benefits to partners of gay state employees. In a debate with Democratic rival Joe Biden, Palin said she is “tolerant” of gays and supports legal protections for same-sex couples such as hospital vistation rights.
Ministers To Revolt Against IRS Sunday

When one’s convictions actually impact what we see and observe in life do Minister’s have the right to speak? Liberals would silence conservative Minister’s while they enjoy frolicking with politics in the liberal churches. The instrument they like to use against churches is not the courts but the IRS.
Liberal minister’s cry foul when conservative’s speak on social issues. Yet, when liberal’s speak on social issues (including elections) they are speaking for the those that can’t speak for themselves. Freedom to speak about the country is a one way conversation. It’s time for the one way conversation to end. Even if it means ending the IRS tax exempt status.
Tags: Conservative, Libs Exposed, Religious FreedomDuring sermons this Sunday, some 35 pastors across the country will tell their congregations which presidential candidate they should vote for, “according to the Scriptures.”
Their endorsements represent a direct challenge to federal tax law, which prohibits tax-exempt organizations from engaging in partisan political activity.
The clergy have embraced that risk, hoping their actions will trigger an investigation by the Internal Revenue Service, which would then enable a Christian legal advocacy group to take the IRS to court and challenge the constitutionality of the ban.
The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), a conservative legal group based in Arizona, recruited the pastors for “Pulpit Freedom Sunday” to press their claim that the IRS tax code violates the free speech of religious leaders.
“I have a First Amendment right to say whatever I want to say, and I’ve never thought it was appropriate that as a pastor I could not share my political concerns with the congregation,” says the Rev. Gus Booth, pastor at Warroad Community Church in Warroad, Minn.
Mr. Booth will endorse Sen. John McCain on Sunday, and has already told his congregation that as Christians, they could not vote for Sen. Barack Obama due to his position on abortion.
PA Supreme Court Strikes Hate Crime Down

Can you say “Sodomy is Sin”? What’s the difference between saying “Sodomy is SIn” and “Adultery is Sin”? Could you also say “Islam isn’t acceptable to God”? Whatever your views is it acceptable to be able to say what you believe, especially if it comes from a Christian? Of course most libs become livid unless of course a jihadist calls death to America or “Israel is a stinking corpse”.

“The Supreme Court in Pennsylvania has declared the “hate crimes” laws used to jail the Philadelphia 11 in 2004 violated the state constitution. In a four-line statement this week, the court said the ruling from the lower Commonwealth Court “is affirmed for the reasons ably set forth in the opinion of the Honorable James Gardner Collins, which opinion is adopted as that of the Supreme Court.”
“We are very happy that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled in our favor to stop the governor and a group of corrupt politicians from sneaking a ‘hate crimes’ bill through the Pennsylvania legislature,” said Judge Roy Moore, of the Foundation for Moral Law. “Preaching to homosexuals about the sin of sodomy should not be made a ‘thought crime’ in Pennsylvania or any other state,” he said.
Michael Marcavage, director of Repent America and a petitioner in the case, said, “Having been arrested, jailed and charged with a ‘hate crime’ for preaching the Gospel, I am elated that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court upheld the lower court’s ruling in striking down Pennsylvania’s expanded ‘hate crimes’ law.” …
The group of Christians, who were given the title Philadelphia 11, had been giving their testimony on public property at the city’s tax-funded celebration of homosexuality in the city’s downtown in 2004. But based on a 2002 “hate crimes” plan then in force in the state, they were arrested, jailed and threatened with up to five decades in jail.
The criminal charges later were dismissed and the group members then challenged the law itself, suing over its adoption. The Supreme Court’s ruling affirms the 4-1 decision in the Commonwealth Court that the amendments were unconstitutional.
