Obama is putting out ads saying he supports the right to carry guns. There is only one problem. When has he ever challenged Chicago’s anti-gun laws or DC’s gun laws. Is this just another slippery snake “I’ll say anything to get elected!” You guess.
Here is the video of the ad and the NRA Ad. Source Info.

They paint your views as one only an idiot would hold. If that doesn’t work then they assassinate our character. Look at how they use this technique on Sarah Palin.

Consistent gun laws are important so that the CCW holder knows what to expect wherever they are in the state. Otherwise it wouldn’t be tough for a small town or city to turn you into a felon really quick… simply because you didn’t realize the place you happen to be at just passed restrictions.
Tags: Carry Conceal, Ohio, Second AmendmentCOLUMBUS — Cities cannot ban firearms from their public parks, a deeply divided Ohio Supreme Court said in a ruling Thursday that could blow away gun ordinances around the state.
In a 4-3 decision, the court upheld an appeals court ruling that had struck down the city of Clyde’s 2004 ban on guns in its parks because it conflicts with the state’s multifaceted concealed-carry law. Clyde is southwest of Sandusky.
The ruling not only eliminates gun bans in Independence and Cleveland Heights parks but also threatens several Cleveland gun restrictions and all but kills further efforts by cities to trump or challenge the 4-year-old state law.
“The main impact is that it is going to restrict municipalities, city councils and so forth from restricting the rights of Ohio citizens who carry concealed weapons in public areas,” said Patrick Lewis, a Cleveland attorney and member of the conservative Federalist Society, who was not involved in the case.
House Moves To Ease DC Gun Laws

What makes this ironic is that the very Congress that should be following the Consitutional intent didn’t. It’s ironic that they are now trying to fix the problem only after the Supreme Court finally has the chance to strick down the unconstitutional ban.
It’s of course no surprise that the Mayor of DC is complaining because the new law would exempt the DC citizens from a law prohibiting the purchase of firearms from other States. Which of course asks… from what State would they buy the guns since they don’t actually live in a State. Ah… the lib drama continues. Get it right Congress and lests watch the violent crime drop over the next 10 years. Get it wrong and watch more innocent people die from the non-existant guns the criminals still would somehow still posess because frankly they don’t really care about the law in the first place.
